@eddief3210 ай бұрын
The flashes around 17:02 onwards, look to be arcing on high voltage cables, most likely a combination of them being wet, and possibly phases touching together. If that happens, usually the cable will enter a fault state, and line end circuit breakers will shut off the power, which is possibly the really bright flash you saw at the end of the sequence. It would also explain the signal lights failing shortly after.

Love you, Revy!
11:55 Car runs right in front of train.
DODX 902 there at 14:46 looks like it has enough antennae on its roof to be more of an ELINT asset than a transportation crew asset; especially with it having 2 air conditioners.

It wouldn't surprise me if that train has "special" cargo and the caboose has a squad of Marines or Rangers assigned as a protective detail.
do those in La Grange, KY drink Jack Daniels all of the time, and then drive to town for another??? yeah, that is what i thought.

I got a Fever. And the only cure is more wig-wag bell! Great stuff R.R. Thanks for fulfilling this request. First clip at Lake Bluff makes me wonder if the GP35s still had ATS.
The hopper cars seen at 11:40 closely resemble those running on Australian railways.

Amazing video
Another amazing one and why is there paintings on the fence in Austell and nice Amtrak heritage unit but why did it go a different route than normally?

12:15 . Can the engineer have some new shorts?
What's the blue bnsf?
A+ Content ... That Bear remembered- noticed the caution at the crossing / Seems it recovered

A lot of Darwin candidates amazing! Plus that Bear 🐻 was smarter than humans, notice how he looked both ways before crossing the tracks 😅

LaGrange is still good for some SERIOUS entertainment 😝 Glad to see Revy the Bear is still around and healthy. Hope some wildlife carers will take care of him and possibly move him to a more bear-safe location.
Nice footage 🎊🍁🇮🇳🍁🎊
It always amazes me that some people Re so impatient that they cannot wait for a train to pass....
Passenger in the car crossing the track at 11:59 must have had a impressive view of the locomotive's coupler! This is S. Walnut Ave. in La Grange. Not only are there no gates, there are no crossing lights. Just a crossbuck above the street stop sign. The sight line for drivers to see a train are also completely blocked. Check it out on Google Street view.

The caboose w/the Schnabel car is used for accompanying technical support/security personnel for the load. In this case a Siemens Electrical item of very high value, susceptible to damage and almost certainly having excess dimensional and weight restrictions on its routing that must be closely monitored.

So many entitled people from Louisville are moving to Lagrange it’s slowly loosing it’s small town vibe .

Where I live there's a 2 track N S main line going by Micky d's across the street is a Burger World(King) it's a downsize line for locals. I Don't go there it may still be called the Fort Wayne line

What if diesel locos had Jake brakes like the truck with the boiler. Obviously the pipe cannot go up, but forward under the cab would sure clear the crossings and road obstructions? Ha!
