G'day, thanks for the ride up the line, there must have once been marshaling yards or something because as you come into Violet town station there are rail lines going off to the left into what's now overgrown land, it's a pity the station has gone it was a historic building, also it's a sad place because of the rail accident there in the 60s l can remember it happening, you drive safe don't want you on the news, cheers mate, Neil 🤠.

When the standard gauge was a single line, there was a crossing loop before the station on the left. Now both lines are standard gauge the loop is not needed and is just a siding used for works trains. Glad you enjoyed it 👍 😊

Is it just me or do the horns and level crossings for this trip sound like they've been added in separately? I have very accute hearing so it sounds like it to me.

They are the crossings and horns but the sound is recorded outside and inside at the same time. 👍😊

Managed to catch SCT do loco swap at Benalla the other day, did the vid off the iPhone - Benalla Trains 04-01-2024 - took 5 clips (no this is not about collecting views- just caught a random and an sharing)

Can anyone explain why the standard gauge velocities are not configured in 6 car sets instead of 2 3 car sets?

All vlocity units are 3 car sets as the maintenance centres are set up for 3 car sets. 👍😊
