Many, many, many years ago (35 - 40) there was a drive-thru funeral home in my southern town. What? I know! It was weird. It had a huge, low, sort of a bay window where they would sometimes place the coffin for viewing. You could pay your respects from the drive-thru or from inside as well.

i work for a University and all of the buildings are really old and most of the offices are interior offices with no access to windows... and in the winter when i come it’s dark and when i leave its dark. the university knows it’s a problem because the provide free treatment for seasonal depression which is usually caused by lack of exposure to the sun so they do treat with light therapy at the “co-rec” which is the giant 3-4 floor gym center.

It looks like it's just ground beef, spaghetti squash, spaghetti sauce and topped with mozzarella. Shove in the oven until the cheese is melty and toasty around the edges. It does look yummy, and I'm not especially fond of spaghetti squash. :-)

Thank you!! I need to say that over and over. I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and other chronic health issues. You both give me hope. You give me the hope that one day I too can find love, and that love can coexist with illness. Your channel and videos, also, make it easier to see that life doesn't have to be live for the treatment of illness, but that you live in spite of your illnesses. Hope has been a hard thing for me to hold onto, over the years. As I watch, I get less freaked out about my potential upcoming procedures (like I might have to get a cath-a-port) less freaky or scary. You both are truly a great inspiration, and great to watch during painsomnia bouts. Mary, you take on life in such an amazing way!! I wish I had half the courage that you have. You face each obstacle with poise and grace. My biggest down fall, personally, is when to say "enough is enough". I am still trying to establish those boundaries, when it come to friends and family. The subtle ways you clue people in have been very eye opening for me. I can never thank you both enough for sharing your struggles and victories. While we may not have the same diseases, we do share a commonality, in that we are both fighting to stay healthy. Thank you! Thank you! Thank You!!

Drive thru phlebotomy😂😂😂 I think a drive thru back massage place would be superb! They put one of those vibrating hand held back massagers on a stick and put the contraption through your car window. You get a quick 5 min back massage and then you head off to finish your day!

Don't laugh I am a retired Med tech and years ago I was told to go out in the parking lot to draw an autistic 16 year old male. He was wearing a hockey helmet and restrained with his seat belt. He would scream and shout so much his caregivers thought it prudent that he not create a situation in the hospital phlebotomy room. As people walked by the mini van we got some really strange looks. I swore I would never do that again! That's as close to drive through as I ever care to come.

FYI- On cipro you aren't suppose to drink calcium/calcium fortified things. Cipro and calcium have a reaction and in your stomach it absorbs it so that it doesn't enter your blood stream. But since you aren't taking it orally I guess it's fine?

cjoy57 - that rule only applies if you take the cipro orally. I’m on Ciprofloxacin for my bladder infection right now, but I’m taking pills. So for me it does apply.

I found this mushroom drain plug thing for my shower. I have to clean it every few days but it is much easier than having to clean the whole drain out. I am a hard stick. When I had surgery last year it took 4 people to get blood fro me. They stressed me out so bad my heart stopped a split second. There was a lot of blood on the floor. I always tell them up front. I like your idea. That is hilarious. I use almond milk for my smoothies. I always use Silk or Almond Breeze. Make some good fruit smoothies or a peanut butter smoothie. Add some honey for sweetness.

+Vera Shular Have you tried a little extra salt with your water a few hours before? It can increase the blood pressure for some people and that can help sometimes too... and try doing some wall push-ups. Sounds crazy but an actor friend of mine does that right before some of the action shots he does and it makes the veins stand up. LOL

I thought you were serious at first about the auditory thing because there actually are machines similar to that. They are called rife machines and can deliver frequencies in different ways to kill infections, help remove different toxins, or help organs to function better. Mine does not have an auditory mode, but there is one called the GB-4000 that does. Many people use them to treat Lyme Disease and co-infections. I have not yet heard of anyone using them for CF, but I wonder if they could be useful. My machine is a Spooky2, and I don't have very many of the accessories for it yet.

I used to have patients that needed to give themselves and injection and there was one person that every once in a while couldn’t give himself his shot, so he would call me up and ask if I would give it to him. The first time he called I could tell he was a little embarrassed to admit that he couldn’t do it that week. I didn’t want him to feel bad so I told him in a cheery voice that sure, come on by and I’d do a drive by shooting for him. He laughed and I knew he was okay with it. So it became an inside joke for us that anytime he couldn’t give himself the shot he would call done down for a “drive-by shooting”. So a drive by phlebotomy would be cool, although I think to work, the drive-through would need to be in the middle of the building in case the other arm had better veins.

I like Aldi's almond milk best - fewer ingredients and it's only $1.99 a half gallon. However, the best nut milks are homemade. Soak nuts overnight and then blend 1 cup of soaked nuts (blanched almonds for almond milk) with 3 cups of water in a blender or food processor. Strain with a bit milk bag and violà - fresh, creamy nutmilk. My favorite it walnut. It's super creamy and great to use as a creamer (I don't like sugary creamers or sweetened nut milks) or to make a creamy vegan hot chocolate! The downside of homemade is that it's usually very cost effective unless you buy nuts in large quanties.

Haha! Lol! You guys crack me up. Drive through labs is a fantastic idea, but wouldn't work for me because they are done through my port. Lol! By the way, I really enjoy almond milk and also almond/coconut milk. Have a Happy Friday and weekend! Love and hugs from Florida!

My very favorite milk is vanilla almond milk; it's oh so yummy! I can't eat much diary because I have asthma and diary causes me to have mucus and cough more than I already do. I love the drive through phlebotomist idea. Brilliant!

Dr. Audible treatments would be pretty amazing LOL Thanks for the laugh and the spaghetti squash dish looks delicious! Instead of a drive thru car wash, you guys need a drive through Poodle wash! Although, I bet they would charge extra for ears!

Idk if you can have lactaid pills but they contain the enzyme that digest lactose. You can also have lactaid milk which has the lactose processed out of it. When I do treat myself to milk, I like non-homogenized. It tastes like ice cream. I, personally, drink cashew milk on a regular basis.

Drive thru Phlebotomy is a great idea! LOL I can see drive thru blood glucose checking in restaurants so you know what to eat before. LOL Or how about a drive thru anti stress place. You order your stress relieving items and they give one of say 4 choices. Squishy, Spinner, Fidget cube or Fidgeter (these vary mine is a long series of bike chain plastic pieces that you snap together then click and bend them the way you want)

Primark is Penny’s here in Ireland. The joke about Pennys is that every time anyone asks where you bought something nice you reply “5 Euro in Pennys “. Because it’s so cheap everyone shops there.

Hi Peter and Mary! Love you guys. Hey I wanted to pass on that if cleaning that drain bugs you, they have this neat little plug thing called the Tubshroom. It catches the hair and you just have to clean off the little plug after you shower. We have two small dogs we wash in the laundry sink and we use one there too. It works really well. I’ll try to find a link. If I can’t find one or if I post it and it’s not there they sell them on amazon. Anyway. Just thought I’d pass it on. www.amazon.com/dp/B01BYMTYBS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_iiT8zbPDKSG3T
