I've been doing a lot of research on the Drive Medical Scout 4 wheel scooter and I just wasn't sure I was ready to blow $1,500 CAD on it -- until I watched your video. Now, I want this cute little scooter so badly, I'm jumping out of my skin with excitement. Thank you!

I've watched several of Scooter Girl's videos. They are very helpful. I appreciate how thorough she is and how she doesn't take anything for granted. When you're going through something new for the first time, it's very easy to be stumped by those little details. I'll be watching more of these excellent videos as I prepare for the recuperation from my upcoming knee replacement surgeries. Keep up the good work!

Mine is being delivered today. I'm so glad I found your video even tho I'm sure everything you did is in the manual, it just helps **seeing** someone do it. I have COPD and osteoarthritis in my neck and spine so this scooter is going to be a life-changer for me. I'm so excited, and now I'm not nervous about putting it together at all. Even tho my husband will be here, this assembly looks so easy that even I could do it with my health issues.

My boyfriend wants me to get a foldable scooter but this looks more practical as I can lift the pieces versus trying to lift a whole scooter and this looks more stable.

Thank you for this video, I watched it before my new Drive Scout was delivered today and it was good I had. When it was delivered today it was light drizzle rain so I needed to very quickly un-box and assemble my scooter so I could get it inside before the heavy rains arrived and before everything got soaked. Because I'd seen this video I was able to perform all the steps without hesitation or guessing and got it done before anything got wet. Again, thank you.

What I don't understand is that if one is disabled. How difficult is that to assemble. I couldn't do that at all.

I just ordered one of these from Amazon. I wont be using pliers to to tighten the bolt on the seat stem though. Other than that good video !

I have one of these on my Amazon Wish List. Didn't exactly show how the seat fit on but I'm sure it's not rocket science. I'd be interested in long term operation and how well it holds up. Perhaps in the future you can put out a video on ruggedness and long term durability. Thanks! Great Video!

So I'm 5'11" at 220 lbs. Would this be a good fit for me? Oh, and does it have reverse?

When you get ready to use the scooter, how heavy are the individual sections which you'll have to put into your car? It looks like most pieces are not that bad. How heavy is the main body, however??

I bought my scooter over two months ago now I don't have to depend on nobody to take me anyway where I've enjoy my scooter I even take my dog for a ride in the he is small enough to fit in the basket

how do you charge the battery? Does the battery charger come with the scooter? I didn't see it when you unboxed the scooter.

11:15 do not do this. Take 5 mins and get a hex key and a spanner to avoid stripping the bolts. The hardware is already soft and cheapish, don't aggravate the situation by using the plier technique.

Vid good but my damn scooter not working for over a week now no one has bothered to helped me I want my money back or another scooter

Greatvideo. The instructor gave me everything I need to know about the assembly.

Great video, but please, please don’t ever use pliers to tighten a nut. Always use a suitable spanner (or wrench as you say in the States). As a mechanic of 50+ years, it sets my teeth on edge.

you didnt show how the rear comes off and on again for putting in the car and reduces weight ,,,, your welcome
