I know there probably isn't a real one, but it's fun to think of possible explanations for why Dedede is like this. 3 ideas so far: 1. Dedede thinks this is how to fit in with the rest of the Forgotten Land's society. 2. Dedede discovered Forgotten Land's memes and fell in love to with them. 3. This is Elfilis/Leongar's influence, and they're similarly decked out.

3. Elfilis influence Not only did it affect Dedede but also Meta knight but on a smaller scale since he managed to overcome it. That’s why the animals were decked as well…
