Critical Drinker is one of the few channels that does a good balance of positive (praising shows) and negative (complaining about stuff) or even just middle ground. Most of the channels I do still like are just too negative all the time and make me feel either angry or just shitty in general, still like em, still watch em, just in much lower doses lol.

I know what you mean dude. I felt real sadness when he started with the rumours. Gary warned him that his channel would degenerate into conspiracy theories and unfull filled hopes. And that he would lose subs and eventually relevance but Doomy didn't listen. He takes a lot of whats happened to SW and ST franchises personally I think. Last time I looked at his numbers they seemed to have barely gone up. He is a really good entertainer though and I hope he can recover. I miss his arguments with Harvey/Himself.

They could've salvaged what's left of season 8 by letting Jon kill the night king but also dying in the process. Ties back to his line at the beginning of season 6 and a big blow to Dany's sanity. The latter works since she realized she's not the chosen one because Jon killed the NK, not her. This leads to her realizing all the murder and conquest she did in Essos wasn't her righteous destiny but just another power hungry tyrannical act. The rest of the season can go the same way as the original. She goes to King's landing, yadda yadda yadda, burn them all, and then have someone kill her like Arya for instance.

Yeah, it was once you were picked by a Jedi Master or Knight to be their Padawan-Learner is when you’d construct your saber. That’s why they’d have to get their own kyber crystal that would call to them through the force. It made it unique to them alone. You could use another’s saber, but it’s true power and potential wouldn’t be there due to the crystal not being unique to you through the force.

I'm so with Nick on Boba Fett and how it's so unnecessary to make a series out of this character (who got totally wasted celebrating and fell into a giant monster vagina).

I say you leave him dead, him surviving was always stupid in EU and would have been one of the few improvements with Disney's new cannon. If they needed a show about him it coukd have been one set during the rise of the Empire and showing how he became the most infamous bounty hunter. They would HAVE to make him an antihero leaning more towards the evil side, but could let him have some redeeming qualities like never backing out of a deal, following through on any mission, and taking offers from "good guys" in some episodes.

1:22:05 yeah iirc Riker had this parasite in his brain that was shutting down all his bodily functions while making him relive good moments, and they had to direct his brain to reliving bad moments to resist it. It was more about lack of budget than writers strike, although that season (2) was the one the strike completely fucked.

It was also the only clipshow episode they ever did, because it's reception was beyond negative. The showrunners admitted to hating it. It is so funny that one of the most interesting episodes in the series was in season 2 (Measure of a Man) and one of the blandest and worst appear in the same season.
