I like it. Old guy here. It’s really good to see that great US Army Drill Sergeants are still out there calling cadence. I was a US Army Drill Sergeant, 1973, Tank Hill, Ft Jackson. Highly motivated. When I dropped troops for push-ups, I dropped with them. 😎. I bet this guy does, too.

It's a marching cadence though.... you'll probably find the bpm is too low for running. Don't worry though, the army has plenty of running cadence too!

@@portee9113 I'm gonna be the boring dumbass and say that the bpm doesn't matter, as you can always adjust the beat. You can double it, quadruple it, and do the same in reverse, without slowing the song down. All it changes is how often you beat in rhythm. TL:DR - You can beat slower or faster, so long as it's still in rhythm.

As a navy vet this song brings back memories of boot camp, oh how proud we were joining the military and leaving behind all our personals. then deployment comes around and I would say this cadence surely beats the cadence my division had to sing no offense Navy.

This needs to be put into all the recruiting videos! Veterans Day, and any other day celebrated with the armed forces. OR maybe a personal motivational video for those who are in dark places in the world that there is always hope and good in this world, and that is worth fighting for! May Drill Sergeant DePalo continue to train troops the way I remember being trained In FT. Sill Ok 1995. HOOOAHHHHHH!!

i love this stuff. some of my most hair raising times were when when we marched into auditoriums where the footstomps and cadence echoed... I think mine was marching into pldc graduation auditorium and we were rocking " Johnny comes marching home" so hard. There is nothing more glorious than a brigade marching in cadence with purpose. Drill sergeants were awesome, but when your in a unit long enough you always find one fella who can rock cadence.
