Great restoration. I love how you didn't clean up the "character" of the unit by bonboing and sanding out the original casting marks, and years of wear.

Excellent job , Earthing wire, to be connected to bare metal body not any thing that is painted ,

+1 you have to expose bare metal for proper grounding, very important for safety.

Looks like a Taiwanese Manufactured drill press. I had a similar one that I restored.

Its a Performance Power DP16-12B 370W single phase press
