doesn't look like any of the riders took it seriously lol. When there are false starts as egregious as the one at 3:25 that somehow earn a win, you know no one gives a fuck.

I think that most riders didn't think the start would make a difference over 9 miles, but yeah, it was more about the experience of riding a road that you would never get away with skating if it was open.

IDK man, if you're racing then then old mates should've got penalised for the false starts. if not racing, should've used solo run handicaps.. just a 'cheat' win otherwise

To be fair, we weren't allowed to film more than this. They had all the media control.

Yuji Fujiyama fair enough I'm just sick of watching longboarding videos filmed by other moving cameras....it totally takes away the sense of speed and shred that these fuckers are doing...I'm sick of traditional skateboarders knocking longboarding and now we have the technology to do this shit better....I dunno the circumstances of the filiming in this scenario but in general can we see some KZread vlog quality drone shots at least? I love rayne decks....this video doesn't do justice to what these guys were doing to people who haven't learned toeside predrifts or even know what that means....so if you want to keep the same set of people interested in longboarding who will.eventually get old and hurt you're doing a great job....just think of how epic say the art of flight was for snowboarding....if longboarding could.have features 1/20th as well shot and edited (and these days equipment is cheap as fuck) as that I think it would catch new wind and the industry at large and all of our favorite manufacturers would have more profitable quarters.....or we can still film on go pros while literally moving at near the same pace reducing any sense of speed to the viewer....

"at what cost did The Art of Flight take life? Sources say the original budget was set at $1 million for production, and $1 million for marketing." - Hook it up with $100,000 (1/20th of their budget) and we'll make you a great video.

Rayne Longboards luckily dslrs are HD now and cheap drones are available ...they had to use more expensive equipment at the time of shooting it...I will gladly film this stuff for you guys with a drone and dslr...this isn't directed specifically at rayne it's directed at all longboarding companies...hit up Casey neistat or fousey or netnobdy they all have the gear...or I'll happily do it....With 10-15k in gear you could make something spectacular....btw I love your guys decks
