How did you figure out what team you wanted to drive for and what sponsors you wanted to use when you were starting out and just starting to look for them

​@@trippydrifter4674 I know alot of guys use events like Sema and PRI to talk to potential sponsors. Or perhaps they may know someone who works with X company who can get the ball rolling on a deal. All in all you have to have a half decent resume' to land sponsors regardless. You gotta have something to show them that their return on investment will be worth it.

It’s a tricky balance between what helps with funding and the brands that I stand behind. I don’t work with partners just based on the deal, it has to be a brand I can stand behind and believe in. I partner with companies so that we can mutually grow in our space. Partners don’t just come to you, I haven’t ever really had that happen before, you have to approach them with a business plan
