I stumbled upon this channel watching other JDM culture videos. This series is covers so much shit that I have not seen before. It was amazing. Their knowledge of drift history is amazing. To be honest, I don't know anything of the original drift competitions in Japan, but it's awesome seeing their excitement. I am curious to see how old these lads are, I genuinely can't tell.

@@cbb8991 We were very fortunate to grow up around this stuff in Ireland, been into it since the mid 90s as a kid and sadly I haven't been able to escape it 😂

Being on this trip was the experience of a lifetime. But reliving it these past few months through these videos has been equally amazing. A serious piece of time, dedication, work and sacrifice went into this. And a serious bit of content came out of it. Thankyou Neil. Cute #pda Now time to sit back and enjoy. #alfart memories

Hi guys, I was probably about your age back in the late 80's early 90's and just wanted to say thank you, the whole JIAV series has been the most entertaining thing on KZread for years, brought back memories of friends now gone along with the good times and adventures we used to have together, I may be knocking on a bit, but I've been a car guy all my life and I still have a couple of 32gtr's I'm restoring, keep doing what your doing, I love this shit.

What bliss this series has been. Absolutely loved the experience. Thank you for taking the time to record all such a massive amount and sharing it with us, it feels hard to convey just how appreciative i aswell as seemingly many others are for the effort you guys put into this, but just know the effort was not for naught. Such a laidback and relaxing vibe, great camerawork, brilliant editing, choice music selection and all around good vibes with the lads. Seen so many shops and places i barely knew of further fueling the interest in exploring their past and their products, and the chilling goosebumps your late night activities on the touges and the highways induced. What an experience. Thank you Neil, Reuben and Flip, this has been fucking ace.

Can't begin to imagine the work that went into this series - what an incredible trip, and what an incredible gift to give to us as an audience, to get to live it out through you boys. I'm not one to ever comment on a vid, but my mum was diagnosed with brain cancer a handful of months ago, and I need to emphasize how wonderfully calming and uplifting this series was for me. It's a cathartic reminder of how much there is for us to still explore while we have the chance, and we could all use a good kick in the ass to go do the stuff we've been dreaming about for years. All the best to you Neil, Reuben, and Flip, and thank you being such a strong inspiration - so excited to keep following everything you do.

Feeling pretty sad because this is the last episode, i fell in love with every minute of this series from start to finish, thank you so much Neil for giving so much time, effort and dedication to record this amazing adventure with Reuben and Flip, one of the things i absolutely loved in this series was the lovely music choice, all the music made by Home were beautifully picked and used with scenes that fits them perfectly. you didn't need to make this much effort for us but you did and you did it amazingly. Again. thank you so much Neil, and a big thank you to Reuben and Flip for being a part of this amazing journey.

The story, the videography, the narrative, the soundtrack, the chapters, Neil your a f**King legend for putting this together, I know you love JDM Distro but someone should offer you a full time job doing this. Awesome awesome job. Gonna go back and watch it all again 👍

There are not many series on KZread that strike a chord with me like this one. It is crazy to know that there are other people all over the world that are infatuated with old quirky little Japanese cars just like me. After watching this series I feel like you guys are my best buds even though we have never met. This is a series that I will definitely be rewatching every couple of years or so. Loving every second of these Japan in a van series! Really needed this today boys. My beloved integra project got towed by the city last week and they're refusing to give it back to me =( I cannot stand the NY state police. I've been working on the car consistently for the past 9 months over here and Albany NY but now it's an item if the past. RIP to my beloved DC4 integra project as well as a part of my soul. Videos like this keep me moving forward

Could not agree more on Neil's statement. If it's a place you want to visit , do it ! Make a few sacrifices to get out there and experience it for yourself !! I did a solo trip for 2 weeks and it was one of the best decisions I've ever made . Met cool people and saw some cool shit along the way. Make a plan to go to one big event , and plan around that.

ive done 2 trips to Japan. first time i worked 3 jobs and sold half my stuff to afford the trip. It was fully worth the struggle. Guy i talked to on a drift page online picked me up in Osaka in a built s13 and drove me way out into the mountains to watch and experience locals drifting. Then he let me drive his car all the way back to Osaka. It felt like an absolute dream.

Thank you so much for this, everyone involved. Been keeping me sane for a few months, time too go straight back too ep.1 me thinks 😂

This is the best series I've ever seen on KZread. I just binge episode 1-12 in the last two days. Big Respect.

Probably THE GREATEST KZread series I have ever watched. This series will be immortalized in Japanese Car Culture documentary history forever. Much love from the states. One of the most entertaining automotive series I’ve ever seen. Japan is one of my favorite countries and the car scene over there is like no other.
