@Jadden Good digging Sherlock. But sounds to me he was referring to the fact that he is breaking the law going sideways in a roundabout. Yet, he chooses to use the blinker. Imo it just shows that he is 100% in controll and that he is using the blinker, like normally, to communicate with other drivers for a safer commute. (Assuming these are just regular drives to-and-from work.) kek

Great drifting! You need to try and get more outside shots if you can as that drifting at the end was fantastic to watch. Maybe add some drone shots if you can. It would be amazing to watch.

Your power-over technique is very good, very smooth recovery from sliding. Let's see some decelerating or trail braking initiations into the drift for the next video! You'll find the speeds need to be a bit higher. XD

DriftaholiC I use the technique very often going into a roundabout. For me much easier than power oversteer technique. But mostly inapplicable on daily street driving. I try to catch it for the next time..

When you use the throttle to get the rear end to rotate. Basically, power overcoming the available traction. It's a bit easier and gives more control than using speed and weight transfer alone but is also slower.

What RPM do you normally drive up too before switching gears? I have a 2009 128i sports edition manual. I bought my babe in Wiesbaden 2015 for 5,000 E at 80,000 miles no issues. It was a steal! It sucks we have no autobahn in Chicago though :(. No more fast driving.

Thats a fine ride you have there, but i guess it cannot be as nimble as this due to the shorter wheel base and the fact that its a proper M car so it has all the genuine M ingridients like a proper M differential, but you have a beast right there too which can go sideways but not as nimble due to your weight etc...

Thanks! I won't install a hydraulic handbrake.. Mostly there isn't enough space on the street to get more angle without risking too much.

I have a 6MT N54 335i Stage 2+ with OS Giken LSD, I also like drifting a lot. But my car seems to have way more grip (do have 265 in the rear), are you running 4bar pressure in your rears or something? lol

JerainJezza the tires are from 2011 and there isnt (now wasnt 😬) so much rubber left to be honest.. thats why it goes sideways very easy

Weil ich sehe, dass Alex ein Alcantara Lenkrad mit rotem Indikator hat: Gibt es das so zu kaufen(hab leider noch keine Quelle gesehen) oder bietet es sich eher an zu einem Sattler zu gehen? Da in meinem E91 das Lederlenkrad nach all meinen Jahren doch abgegriffen ist, suche ich Ersatz.

Das gibt es so nicht zu kaufen. Das Lenkrad wurde von Thomas Mack (Firma Polsterei Mack) gemacht. Kann ich nur empfehlen!

Wenn du in wien bist kannst du es auch zu dmv autoglas bringen und die machen dir alles nach wunsch! Kostet mindesten 150 euro jedoch maximal 200 euro mit allen extrawünschen und quali ist wirklich top! Hab meins dort auch machen lassen.

krezo Yup. 1.57~ tons might not be as light as an old E46 M3 for an example, but if your brain is in 2018 then yes, it’s most definitively light.

J Gripen my brain or the year we live in doesnt define lightweight of a sportscar Bmw 1 series is not a light car and never was There are plenty of other cars which could be called lightweight Bmw 1 series is not leightweight and never wanted to be, its a luxurious sportscar - not a light sportscar

krezo A 1 Series is NOT a luxury car. A 2 Series is not a luxury car either. 3 series is a compact executive. A 5 series is a luxury car. An M5 is a luxury sports car. A 1M is a sports car, not even remotely close to luxury. My old sofa i threw away 1 year ago rotting away in the dump, is still probably more luxurious than a simple 1M. It’s a light sports car.
