Told the truth. Punk wasn’t ready he first met Drew but second time punk was ready and Drew wasn’t but it will look like they will benefit from each other esp promos. And as Drew he was putting up his best promos of his career week after week for a month straight earlier this year. It’s all about going up from here, no drama just put in work. It’s how I see it

He's not a heel, he's a pissed off face lol. He himself has told people, "give me two minutes of time to talk to you, I'm not a heel." If you pay attention they flipped it, Punk's the heel in their feud lol. Drew is the nice guy who TRIES to work his ass off to get to the top but he keeps getting screwed every time he gets close to the top, so he's the nice guy at the office who snaps cause people keep screwing with him.

So Drew's issue is he can't let go of the past and move on...(I'm a big Drew fan, ever since day one when Vince brought him out as the Chosen One) but Drew's got a problem with not letting go of the past, like with Roman and the Bloodline lol. Punk was just being who he is like everyone does. No reason to hate on Punk when you, yourself sad you couldn't even figure out how to be an adult and do laundry...Drew should realize that whether he likes it or not, Punks actions helped propel him to become who he is.

Seems to me that Drew is alluding to the locker room environment and how Punk assumed the role as some sort of locker room leader. This is standard wrestling backstage politics 101. New guy comes in, tries to fit in but the guy on top acts like a complete douche bag making life for the newcomer a living hell. Hbk did it, triple H, Hall, Nash, Hogan, hell even Cena. Punk filling this stereotype is no surprise. It’s cool to see it used as a plot device whilst still maintaining the Kayfabe aspect of it.

It’s very true unfortunately cm punk has proven is old and injury prone and brittle . As can be seen from his time in previous company since his come back and now again . His not reliable enough to put a belt on . Some time nostalgia of older wrestlers we want to see , is just that , great for a meet greet but sometimes they just are for just age or time are not able to perform at the level they need to .
