This dude throws dimes left n right. Sure throws a pretty ball. Liked him a lot coming out of college. He can EASILY takes Jones' spot simply cuz he actually wants to throw the ball down the field. Daboll wants to do that sooo bad. Solid pick up no doubt.

He will need an offensive line to block while the play develops. Also having a receiver like Metcaf helps

looks like he settled down as an nfl qb finally. his winning final drive against the eagles made me think ok, he is "locked" as a potential nfl starter now.

daniel jones will need to ball out to be the starter for the whole season. this could be a similar situation like in denver or las vegas.

I thought he just had that MNF drive. Didn’t know he made this many plays last year. Let’s go! Danny take your time healing.

Drew absolutely deserves to stick around as a back up.

He’s very similar to Jones. Could definitely compete with him for a starting spot and they’ll help each other improve.

He attempts a lot more deep throws even when being ran at. Which is good for receivers like Hyatt and slayton. And those quick slant throws he does is perfect for wandale. Decent pick up still would like to draft a qb.

After watching lock do a some things better than DJ. Better pocket awareness, if he have time in the pocket, scan the field, throw deep. However, still want a qb in the draft. I even think lock is better than DJ.

Lifelong Giants fan here, yes, my interest was piqued due to the trade. Happy to see his ability in the few games he has played in. I also think he has the ability to beat out Jones for the starting job. Jones has not given his knee proper time to heal…it will show in OTA’s. Psyched for this upcoming season. We have addressed all our weak points in draft and free agency grabs. Even Dabol is looking like he has dropped a good deal of weight and is ready for a new season! LETS GO G MEN!!!

He HAS to beat DJ out as the starter….I cant do another season of Jones

The funny thing about lock is same class as jones; I wanted him as the qb I watched him at mizzu and he’s got a pretty throw; he didn’t do all that great in Denver shurmur was okay as a coordinator and fangio as the coach; but in Seattle he played well. This goes for any qb but if the line holds up I really think he could do well I think he’s good enough to be a starter whether it’s in ny or somewhere else; just kind of ironic to me he’s the guy I wanted.

If he calmed down and stopped trying to fit it into tight coverage he’d look like Marino.

That's not a hard task Devito a 3rd string quarterback came off the bench and was better than Jones getting the Giants 3 wins
