I wish men dressed like this today! This was a feast for the eyes!
Q&A - The black bowtie combined with the tailcoat is very unfashionable, even for the Edwardian era. The non-white waistcoat however is accurate. - The silk sash is a predecessor of the cumberbund and accurate for summer daywear.

Very informational, thank you!

Also, question, what is your favorite outfit of the ones you put on in this video?
@Vintagebursche

I guess the white suit, because it's the most on topic (and I made it).

I saw you were at gamescom the other day. What kind of vidyagames do you play?
What a beautiful video! Very aesthetically pleasing, and the background music is just wonderful
Getting the drip together with my Edwardian boyz. *Ahem* I really appreciated this video. It was relaxing and made me want to be part of this community, from a time that seems great despite not having lived through it. Thank you for that. Wishing you all the best. :)
This may be odd but these are my favorite type of videos to put on while I do my hair in the morning 🙈 Very atmospheric and calming and just the best thing to start the day with 🤍
lookbooks are definitely my favorite type of content! seeing all those pieces come to life, some of which the making I've witnessed real-time, is simply magical.
Splendid quality. The Lookbooks are always the most enjoyable of your videos, Niklas. Einfach elegant!
I love all of these!! My favorite is the one with the silk waist sash... but the tailcoat looks so good...
I love Edwardian style. I incorporate a lot of it myself; transitional ties/cravats, cummerbunds, detachable collars, bibs, even fake cuffs. It pains me to be reminded of their obsession with fake neckwear.
I am in awe of your wonderful creations style and dress As I progress in sewing it is my desire to complete a wardrobe of Edwardian clothes So Wonderful & inspiring and beautiful filming
My husband still dresses like this most of the time 😊
This video is amazing! I love every outfit. But I must say, the one with the sash is my favorite. Thank you for sharing your amazing style with the world.
Your videos painfully remind me of what a sloppy region for fashion I live in 😥 You look devine.. beautiful location as well 💙
And some will say all you ever need is a pair of jeans and a T-Shirt. They are missing the point. Excellent video. And what an elegant location and music choices!

People saying, that we just need jeans and T-shirt are completely out of reality, which most people are today unfortunatelly. Most are just not educated in culture and don´t know, what they are talking about. They are lost in their lives. I respect the minority, who cares about things ulike most others.
It's funny how everyone are paying attention to the white linen suit (Quite standard one for the era). And not the satchel one, in my opinion much more unique, huge respect for that tie.
Bravo my friend. The passion you have for period menswear screams through your creative projects.
These lookbooks are my favorite format on your channel! Very calming to watch while having a cup of tea / coffee!
Such a good video, giving me inspiration and hope for assembling my own Edwardian-ish wardrobe one day! I personally wouldn’t be able to wear white like that, since I’m clumsy and spill things a lot, but it suits you very well indeed and I bet it’s comfortable in the summer heat. I’m happy to see that you’re making videos again, it’s always so good to see!
nice and i enjoy watching Your Video.
I'm a big Dorothy L Sayers fan and the books are full of people putting on clothes like this. Thank you for illuminating what they were doing! Seeing historical menswear IRL makes one appreciate all the things it does to make men look elegant, and all the skill it takes to get there.
Great fashion, pleasing to the eye,and mature enough to be seen by all people, amazing, hugs from europe
Man it's painful to see other people living out your dream life! Beautiful music, where is it from? :O

I know right?!
In Edwardian times, and even earlier, was it not customary (or perhaps de rigeur) to wear a white tie with a tailcoat? My understanding is that although the waistcoat could be white cotton Marcella, black wool or silk or even colored brocade, the tie worn with a tailcoat had to be white- except for servants, of course.

Excellent video and you all look beautiful! So useful to see you change throughout the day. Love it, thank you.
always love your lookbook videos
Absolutely stunning!
A perfect step back in time. Thanks for making all these wonderful videos.
I love your trews with the smoking jacket!
A delightful video! I especially liked the music and the white Summer suit, but they all were excellent.
I'm going through all these look-books to get the songs so I'll leave them here and on his other look-book videos 1: Away by Birraj 2: Farewell by Maya Belitzman and Matan Ephrat 3: Balance 3/4 (From "Waltz No. 17 in A minor" B. 150)
That's a marvellous white suit. I'm afraid I'd look like a washed out angelic choir boy wearing one since I have a pale complexion and very blonde hair. I definitely need a linen suit, maybe a tan one.
Beautifully shot! Nice!!
Amazing! Beautiful video. It's fascinating to see Edwardian clothes in motion on a real person! Also, aways delighted to see the German villain glasses 🕶️
Perfect (and oddly timely) video after I finished reading Forester's Room with a View.
Pure pleasure! Thank you!
Another amazing video! Thanks for sharing! Cheers from Brazil!
Fantastic video and great music 👏👏👏👏
Wie immer, schönes Ding mein Lieber. Schön mal wieder was von dir zu sehen! :)
Great content as always, very inspiring, I hope to see you at Pitti next year
This video looks and sounds very Merchant and Ivory.
Ohh Edwardian summer
Love the music at 4:30
Wonderful! Silk waist sash - it's got me a-thinking :-)
Your friend at the end of the video looks like Daniel Day Louis as Cecil in A Room with a View.
Diese Sonnenbrille ist einfach megaendlaser :D
Excellent 👌🏽
Second assemble for me 👌🔥🙌 ,life at your own phase 👌
Exquisite content.
Haute boi summer
I love and hate those old clip on ties from back then
Hello 👋. It was pleasant to watch this video. 😊

Where can a person purchase the items you had in your shoes? I think they are shoe spreaders, or they also just keep the shoe shape.

@@Vintagebursche I despair at your elegance and your skill. Thank you for these wonderfully aesthetic videos. I do smile at myself knowing that behind the melancholic classical music you are secretly listening to heavy metal ;)
Why do you use a 20s collar (first collar in the video) if it's supposed to be Edwardian?
@Vintagebursche
10 ай бұрын
The spearpoint collar is not an invention of the 1920s. The most important evidence is probably that the Arrow Collar Man campaign already started in 1905.
@sandervdbrink84

@@Vintagebursche I looked at that campaign but couldn't find spearpoint collars there during the Edwardian era. I might have missed something; any sources you can recommend for further reading about this? Thanks!
i'm a simple woman. i see a guy in suspenders, i like.
I wish people dressed like this more often. These days fashion leaves much to be desired…
Maybe the weather in Germany\ Austria is different, but you're kinda late by almost three months with this video. 😢
