Jordy, thank you for the quick unboxing 😊learning a lot for you . Thank you
You've already been my new go to channel of all time. No Shit!!
Congratulations on your win!,! Thanks for your video
Jordy, I bought one when it came out. Wasn't sure what I was going to do with it. I have a bunch of dremel tools, but this is a fantastic tool for details. It has rescued some of my junk carvings from the eternal fire.

I have one, nice tool. One thing I do not like is that the lock button is exactly opposite the power button, so I keep accidentally grabbing the power button while using the lock button. So I’m trying to add a new bit and my fingers push the power button by accident, causing it to spin. I do not understand why did they put the buttons on opposite sides where the fingers inadvertently push the opposite button?
Do you think it's possible to do some bulk removal with the Dremel Stylo? Would it work with Kutzall Flame Burrs (extreme or original), or some of the more aggressive aluminium cutter burrs? Perhaps on medium/soft wood. It would take more time, but can it do it?

Hey Jordy , I used one of those chucks in my Wen and it kept getting tighter every time i used it until it would not come off. I had to take two pairs of channel locks to get it out , I don't use it any more.

Question: is the dremel 3000 better than the 4000? As in can the 3000 be just as good as the 4000 or is it best if I get the 4000. I'm thinking of getting a new rotary and I want sure if the 3000 was worth it due to it being cheaper than the 4000. Thanks! Love the videos!!

Old school glass Mason jar! I'm sure you've already done it since I'm a year late...
Yeah the Stylo seems more like a Dremel engraver which works a bit different to a rotary tool I think? The rotary ones can run away sideways whereas the engraver has a different action I think? I could be wrong though? Cheers man.

Nope, this one spins just like a rotary
Hi Jordy. I have Dremel 3000 and it's great for almost anything. But I need a small rotary tool such as Dremel stylo for glass and stone engraving. What did you thing about Stylo for glass and stone work. Did he fit for the job ? Or maybe marathon Micromotor. You have both rotary tools, what's your honest opinion for these two machines. For wood carving Dremel 3000 works just fine.

@@CarvingFusion Thanks so much. I saw one of your videos with stone engraving but that wasn't a diamond burr maybe one agresive burr from Kutzall. Sorry for the stupid question, but I try to engrave just from 2 months and I know nothing. And so far my carvings are disaster. Did I can use different burrs for stone carving except diamond ones ?
Umm if you pull those brushes out make sure u put them back in the same exact position as they where so they keep wearing the same and it don't go against it.
Can you use this for wood carving with soft wood like animals and things that are small?? I'm a first timer here I'm still learning.

The “bogging” out is a feature I think because the motor isn’t as strong it shuts off when you push to hard
@CarvingFusion

Ya because its junk
@katzeyez1979
Жыл бұрын
It's not set at a good speed for that and it will bog down when using too much pressure. It's best for detailed work, softer wood and engraving

Talks about how the weight of the 3 jaw chuck and large bits are bad for the bearings. Then proceeds to do the opposite of what he just suggested. Your gonna burn that thing up fast. I can hear the thing is unbalanced by that irritating buzzy whine it's putting out. Bye bye bearings. While the collets are less convenient, they offer less runout and tool vibration.
