Oh this brought tears to my eyes, congratulations on the awards and how sweet of that young boy sending you his peace award. I also loved the part of St Gobnait ,I’ve never heard of her but will read up on her,It’s so heartening to see other Christians talk about Saints, as Catholic we love our Saints ( and of course we don’t worship them like some people think we just look up to them as noble Christians and May ask them to pray for us like anyone would ask their family or friends to pray for them) So many saints were animal lovers like St Francis) oh and l love your dress, you have the coolest clothes.

I am so glad you enjoyed your time here with me! Yes, I am really interested in the stories of the saints, especially right now doing a lot of reading on the Celtic saints, like Gobnait. Fascinating lives in which we can learn so much from them. I often share the stories of the lesser-known saints in my sermons...yes, a Presbyterian pastor talking about saints. :) And thank you for the compliment regarding my wardrobe. I finally decided to dress in a way that gives me joy. My husband, though, is not too keen on my "Heidi" look. LOL Blessings to you!

The dream was vivid and when I did get up I felt differently...I was in awe and felt a strange peacefulness mixed with wonderment. I can't fully explain it, but I felt different. I also then asked that question as well: God has spoke before to people in dreams, whose to say this is any different? And so, I followed through. :)

Donna, you have been on my mind these last few weeks so I wanted to reach out to you again to say how much your videos and faithful messages mean to me. I am thrilled at the two awards you received. They are richly deserved and the one from James is priceless. I also want to respond to your words about worthiness and self doubt. For many smart capable women, the imposter syndrome kicks in. I don't know if it a cultural thing or if the centuries of oppression have built that unworthy feeling into women. We are all worthy! I was just thinking about you right now, as I drink my coffee and get ready for church. Yes, that award from James was so powerful. The best award ever. But that imposter syndrome is really doing a job on my lately. I have been busy these last few weeks with work...traveling. And in fact, last weekend I was guest preaching in Miami. The roofers are still working on the house and so I have been having a hard time concentrating with all the noise. This too shall pass. More to come. I have to get a move on! I never thought of it that way...that St. Gobnait was reaching out to me too. Wow. That is very special and does make sense as I did feel such a connection to her when I read her story. It's funny because shortly after discovering Gobnait, I was driving to church early Sunday morning and I passed a field with goats running about. I could see myself one day right there in the midst of them, tending to them...perhaps one day that will happen. So glad you spent time with me! Blessings to you!

Hi Donna, great to see you and Fritz again (seems like he scored a little extra video time). I had never heard of dandelion butter. My childhood friend used to make dandelion wine. Now as I look back I’m not sure why, we were just kids. Congratulations on your awards especially the peace sign pin, I really like that one, guess it’s because I call myself an “old hippie.” I have been thinking about something from your last video. You had a man that wanted you to speak at his funeral, I’ve been thinking about that for me. My church closed like a lot of them so I don’t have anyone to say words about me. I didn't get video of him limping...the poor boy has had something wrong with his front paw for a few weeks now. We went to the vet, he is on some meds...these dogs tend to have joint problems. His lameness could be from the Lyme disease he had last year, or just simply the reality that his breed tends to have more lameness than others. Just the other day, I hurt my ankle...nothing serious, just too much running on the trail. But here we were...my chicken, dog and me all limping around. :)

All is well! Been busy traveling for work. Chicken is doing wonderfully. She only limps now when she is trying to run quickly for a treat. :) As for the roof, it's still a work in progress. Another reason the videos are slow in coming...I just can't seem to concentrate or find the quiet times to film. I have a video in the works that should be out by tonight (May 19) or May 20.
