I can't agree more and concerning the Scottish accent OMG ! It makes my heart melt ! Since I was 14 when I spent nearly one month there 😉, when I feel a little bit down... Well, if you want to cut out carbs (the fuel of the body), I won't argue, but if you want less strain on your body and greater health, without all the shit which goes with an unnatural diet, I still won't argue. Cut out excess sugar, stop eating so much fried food, actually start some sort of reasonable exercise plan, then maybe, you could end up not with type 2 diabetes or looking American on a disability scooter with your fat rolls dripping over the sides of the seat, but seriously, eat protein, eat carbs, cut out most of the takeaways and actually cook your own food without frying. Grill your bacon, it's easy. We live in weird times where people are killing themselves by overeating. I'm writing this eating a veg stirfry with boiled noodles with black bean sauce and salt and pepper to flavour. This is how easy it is. Tomorrow, chicken, fried in a pan, very little oil, curry spices, mushrooms, onions, etc, boiled rice, very healthy, gives loads of nutrients, cheap to make and very filling. I don't plan to make myself unhealthy because I don't care what I eat. Anyone can do it and it costs less than eating shit. Protein, carbs and micronutrients. Keeps you alive, full and healthy. Also stops you developing an American accent and buying guns.

A good analogy would be did you see yourself physically growing as you grew up as a child? It happens, but very slowly. I'm from Dundee and I can assure you that most Scots can do a 'Weegee' accent as we call it. Most of Dundee's native residents have family roots in Glasgow, so although the accent isn't the same, it's very similar. It's also the most common Scots accent because it's the accent of the most populous parts of the country.

I have to see Kevin live i have his dvds and i watch him on u tube all the time he cracks me up. it does get on my nerves when i see some of the comments about needing to watch him with the subtles on i get it myself when I speak to people from the South of England because i am a scouser why should he change the way he speaks because some people can't be bothered to concentrate on what he is saying or are trying to have a dig at the Scottish accent or a northern accent i love the scouser karaoke joke and the joke about your mates dad ordering a takeaway no family gets over a punch to the dads chin comedy gold haha

I agree. I have no problem with his accent as my Nan was from Scotland, Glasgow and I am in tune with the accent. You just need to listen a bit harder is all.
