Insomnias will have to work hard for the win because other big upcoming comebacks are of Red Velvet, Sunmi, Somi and also BTS PTD is also currently in the list. So we would have to work extremely hard for the first win. It's not going to be easy.

Okay, but now that the medley is released, they didn't entirely lie about going for a cuter concept. The b-sides and their teaser videos are honestly pretty cute. :) and I'm living for them experimenting with genre. It'll showcase more of their flexibility with vocal styles

The thing is, they're not teaser videos, they're footage of the photoshoots. The only MV reveal so far is the teaser trailer for BEcause, all the other footage aren't necessarily MVs.

For people who are complaining about the genre of the songs. I am a person who likes heavier songs, but you have to remember that this is a special album and what does that mean? Probably this is the jumping off point for a new story and full album in the next comeback with heavier sounds. This is a more relaxed album to not saturate us so much. But also don't feel bad if you didn't like the album, in the end that's what music is all about, it's all about taste.

Ah, there is the summery vibes, but of course, Dreamcatcher summery vibes. Leez and Ollounder are just producing great music EVERY single DC albums' comeback. Their talent is just too amazing. DC, you guys are just as amazing that I'm super giddy for the mv, Airplane and Whistle. Or just all of them.

I'm so glad they stuck with LEEZ and Ollounder throughout the Dystopia series and again for this album. These producers made Dreamcatcher blossom into such a well rounded group and they're now tied for my favorite with LOONA. I hope they continue to work with LEEZ and Ollounder for a long time because I think their music production and the essence of Dreamcatcher mesh so well together.

I'm probably gonna infuriate someone but DC is not really diverse. It has always been just Progressive pop rock/World/90's style arrangement of R&B. They only sound different because Kpop fans are so used to just listening to Pop with crazy sounding EDMs.......It's the demand that dictates the quality, more refined taste..more refined music.

DC is the best girl group in Korea, if tv station giving them more exposure and publicity, general public will immediately recognize Dreamcatcher is a whole different level. It have been 4 years and until now they manage to resist the strong current and waves in disadvantage competition only by giving 100% good songs in every album. Waiting for one day when Korean will finally say "Dreamcatcher is Korea legendary girl group" and guess what, it's not impossible, let's make it reality somnias.

For now my fav b-side is Whistle, but I like them all. They're different and that's what an album is supposed to have, different songs that together tell some sort of story. Can't wait for the day!

The korean comments are making me so emotional, I hope they're saying good things and that this comeback will get them more recognition in korea!

So we have possibly the chillest intro in Dreamcatcher history, but still with something creepy going on... BEcause is both a bop _and_ a banger, and seemingly a bit of a spinetingler to boot. Airplane sounds so far like much more of a _classic_ summer bop; It's giving me real Twice vibes. 😄 Whistle... what do we call that... EDM/pop? I'm not very good with genres. But I'm bobbing to it already; can't wait to hear the full song. 😜 Alldaylong is kinda sending me back to the 80s, with the heavy bass, synths and... faux-horns? It _makes sense_ that this is a JiU track. And finally, 해바라기의 마음... the essential ballad. Just sit back, close your eyes, and soak in those sublime vocals... 😍 All in all, it looks like our girls have knocked it out of the park again. Now the question remains: what is it that makes this mini-album "Special"..? Hopefully we'll find that out on Friday, too... 😁

Happyface Entertainment's intentions are clear, to transform DC into an average group, because they know that this is the only way to conquer the boring and not very varied Korean music market.

I would argue that if you stick only to one sound then you won't survive in the kpop industry. I commend DCC for a smart move. Basically all of the songs (apart from BEcause) in this album are much lighter, more summer-y which: 1. Is great to attract more Korean fans and I love seeing more Korean comments, also cementing a bigger Korean fanbase is a straightforward way to get music show wins and increase album sales

I don't see them ever straying from pop-rock as that is their whole concept as a group and they have had the same producers from the beginning who are very proficient in making these songs

타이틀곡 옆에 휘파람이 제일 좋아하는 것 같아

Alldaylong is reversed Break the Wall because instead of distorted vocals it has airy vocals and instead of a hard guitar riff it has a funky bass line, my fav song on the album after the title track

dreamcatcher is the genre and the concept, that's it

This album is very different and I am here for it. Airplane seems very cute, but not out of place for DC. I think I’ll like all the songs for different reasons.

Yeah it has a cute feel but it's a little heavier with the chugging guitar.
