For me, I was a kid that listens to rock that is emo, punk, alternatives, and some metal. As I was relating my pain and feeling the song. But when I heard pop or hip-hop music, while not liking it at all. I was narrow-minded. But that changed when I heard kpop music than USA music. I grew up and my heart starts to heal from the darkness i was in past life. So, I think thats why.

Because there is alot of artist wanting to be on top like BTS for example. Those boys started from the bottom. No one ever thought they would hit BIG. Now, our girls admire them and other younger groups too. So, I'm hoping Korean people wake up and give these girls a chance. Also, not alot of Korean listens to the rock genre and not use it.

watch this to understand in detail. Basically because they are not a ‘conventional’ kpop group and the industry is run on convention. Thus, any deviation from standard will end up being isolated or even cheated out by shadier party in the industry. BTS experienced the same before. they were super close to getting their first win with their last comeback but a lot of people think that the numbers were purposely messed up (they were given an expert score of 0 while the groups they were up against both got the maximum possible but even then they should have come out with a higher score)

There has not been a group that has shaken me so hardly like Dreamcatcher has. K-ROCK?!! The most unique subgenre of K-rock I've EVER HEARD. The most unique Kpop group up to date (at least for me). They can do any concept, but not every group can do their concept. They can't phyiscally make a bad song. Moreover, there is something much different to other kpop songs out there. Their voices sound natural, not too high. Some girl groups have their songs too high and it makes the melody hard to hear over all the music. They don't change pronouns in their covers. Makes my heart flutter more than when boy groups sing it. Dont know why. Their company seems cool. The girls look like they have actual fun doing shows and other projects. DID I MENTION STUNNING VISUALS. These talented, one of a kind girls needs more recognition omg. I love them SO MUCH IT HURTS.

Hey, I'm a fan of Dreamcatcher! I think there are some groups though that can do Dreamcatcher's concept, but they don't do it because usually people are attracted to girl crush globally and Korea likes cute concepts. Dreamcatcher pulls of this rock concept though and I really want them to have more supporters. Their company is really good at promoting them too.

Not a single song is gonna disappoint. Most members are credited as writer of some of the songs too. And Paradise being the extra cherry on top

Another year goes by, and they're once again unnoticed and drowned in the sea of of popular groups. They go on hiatus, only for fans to find out they're going to debut again with 2 other members this time. It's 2017, and the group comes out with the song "Chase me", and it gets attention, because of it's VERY unique rock/metal-pop concept. Over the next few years, they gather quite the fanbase, and gain a lot of attention/popularity, but there's something wrong, This group doesn't have their 1st win yet, despite their popularity. Why you may ask? It's a rather simple answer, the kpop industry. It's InSomnias vs the Kpop industry. As you probably know by now, this group is Dreamcatcher, previously known as Minx. Our girls are getting the attention they deserve, but the kpop industry doesn't.want.to.give.them.a.win. They want them to fail. They don't want an unconventional group to become more popular than the typical groups you see. Now reader, I am asking of you ONLY 2 THINGS to prepare to do when the music video comes. 1) STREAM, STREAM, STREAM. It doesn't actually take that much effort as you're doing/watching other things, and we're gonna need all the views we can get, since KZread is a scumbag, and LOVES to freeze the views. And finally, 2) VOTE FOR THEM. We need all the points we can get. Supposedly, theShow sabotaged Dreamcatcher last comeback, so they wouldn't win while another, more popular group would. Only if people start to have expectations of how it is going to sound like. Thats often how it start. This sounds ETHEREAL. It sounds incredible. I love this concept. I'm not even part of the fandom but I have a feeling this is going to change this comeback. These girls are so talented, I hope they get more recognition with this album. All the songs sounds amazing, I don't know how but there's not even one song I didn't like so far. Can we also talk about how beautiful this Highlight Medley is? It's so aesthetic and the theme is so beautiful. I'm in love with the editing here. I really like the photos they chose for the highlight as well. I'm also very curious about the album's title, I think there's a story to it and I'm a sucker for storytelling and theories.

LEEZ OLLOUNDER TRUST DREAMCATCHER BEC. THEY HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO MAKE THE SONG POWERFUL!

Yoohyeon said that the dance for Scream is hard since it’s fast but all of Dreamcatcher’s dance are hard though

which I like about DC that all of them have technique singing even not a vocalist, not like other GGs that even half of them singing with nasal voice : second is their dance, I've never seen a main vocal can dance baddass like this :))) their dance always use a lot of skill to dance. third is the story line of their MV, it's masterpiece. The ekip behind DC are the best when they make all their MV look like a movie. I hope they keep doing this in future. I hope they have 1st win with this 1st album. For me with this talent and unique concept, they must be stand along with blackpink twice and red velvet. Not a 9-10m view MV :((

But most of their MVs have 9 to 10 million views though. Like You and I, Piri and deja vu all have about 9 to 10 million views. I agree with you on the nasal voice part. I think it's quite annoying that most of the other girl groups sing with high vocals and it's hard to notice the melody.

Jiu mentioned in her recent vlive that Tension was supposed to be Goodnight. But since goodnight was already made for a comeback, Tension was not released and they modified it now & changed the lyrics to be included here in the first album. Just wow. Imagine if Ollounder & Leez already have other songs in storage just waiting to be released by dreamcatcher. ♥️

Just at the start of the year, LEEZ and Ollounder have already made an EP for ATEEZ, a b-side for Younha, and now 8 new songs for Dreamcatcher-- 10 including Intro and Outro. I am pretty sure they are keeping plenty of songs in their dungeon. No way they made that many songs in less than 3 months. 😂

@you know BTS before Dreamcatcher existed there was a group called Minx, consisting of 5/7 Dreamcatcher members (Jiu, Sua, Siyeon, Yoohyeon, Dami). They debuted in 2014 but weren't really successful, so they ended up redebuting as Dreamcatcher in 2017 with 2 additional members (Handong and Gahyeon). They are known for their rock and sometimes even metal sounds which is uncommon for a south korean girl group, but they also go through lots of different genres in their sidetracks. Their MVs have a pretty deep storyline with many different theories about them. The right order to watch would be: Fly High Chase Me Good Night You and I What Piri Breaking Out (japanese song) Deja Vu (perhaps Paradise (Siyeons (main vocal) solo song, that kind of teasered Scream, their upcoming title track)) Scream (will be released on 18th of Febuary) they have playlists on their channel with vlogs of each member, songs they covered (called special clips) and other fun stuff to discover, so I highly recommend checking it out :)

Scream is a mix of rock, edm and opera rock and I AM FREAKING LIVING This album is so diverse, you have great dreamcatcher sound, edm, ballad, jazzy sound, r&b and everything mixed with rock wich makes it even more EPIC Dreamcatcher is THAT group!!!

This kinda feels nostalgic, it's been almost a year! I already want a new full album though xD

Dreamcatcher > Having the same producers who make masterpieces for them but still being slept on in Korea

@Thang Sing Leez and Ollounder produce around 95% of Dreamcatcher's whole discography, including intros, outros and b-sides. Fly High and What are the only title songs not by them. They used to be a trio named Super Bomb (which were the credits for Chase Me and Good Night era), but they seemed to have went their separate ways, and the remaining two left of Super Bomb are Leez and Ollounder. They probably decided to just separate in credits.
