I have both..... wii u and dreamcast are both solid! Dreamcast had some great fighting games and arcade ports.. wii u had the entire wii library and Mario cart 3 years before the switch version(99% same game) and it has Breath of the Wild and a few GREAT Mario and Zelda Games.. Dreamcast was a window into next gen a year before the ps2, online play, Sonic, Great Arcade Ports, Phansity Star Online, and other Games... I say a tie!!

Haven't seen any of this yet, but I already know I need it 0-0 I became a Wii U and a Dreamcast owner in the past 2 years and have become hooked on (modding) both

Most days of the week these two consoles are my faves (except for when it's ps2, megadrive, gamecube, saturn....). Seriously though, always get a massive kick out of how you can relate two totally dissimilar games to each other through a very random, humorous link. I reckon you could convince me that apples and oranges are in fact the same fruit. Great vid as always

Great video man , love to see some love shared to imo the most underrated system (maybe also overrated but man if it was around more then 3.5 years , imagine the games that would be released) Yes I am a Dreamcast "fanboy" :)

This is a hard one for me. I love the Wii U but I never had a Dreamcast, although I did play them a fair amount while hanging out with my friends. Plus I'm a dweeb that loves casual games a little too much, so the Wii U will always hold a special place in my heart. On the other hand, I loved hanging out in arcades in the 90's and the Dreamcast was really the last system that had a heavy emphasis on arcade games. After the Dreamcast was discontinued, you could choose between "Nintendo gunna Nintendo" or Xbox/PS2 "what do you mean, games that aren't brownish-gray shooters?" I loved Tank! Tank! Tank! It's such a simple game and yet I logged 85 hours on it.

There is another retro/modern system coming out using screens in the controller, the Intellivision Amico, it's aimed at the casual crowd though, and has a 64-direcrional dial pad instead of a D-Pad, and not to sure about the games tbh, a lot of the games look like mobile games.

Every month i was buying 1-2 Dreamcast games, I get the console 2 days after release. All games I played were well until awesome, except one game, Spirit of Speed, that game was garbage. The Wii U had great exclusive games, but the Dreamcast games overall were high quality and ahead of its time.

Both of these consoles have got silmer things in common such as their sales were not that good when they both come out For me I had a Dreamcast many years later not from the beginning when it came out as I was a child back then it was my 1st gaming console and I had so mulch great times on it Wii U I had when it first came out too me it was fine from the beginning such a good games I enjoyed it in the end it was not selling enough For me it's because of the hardware titals, software and games

Wii U...Mostly as I can't afford to get a Dreamcast these days

The dreamcast has about 3 games that are classics, the WiiU has soooo many. Kids are STILL playing it. For kids, it's either the WiiU or the Switch. No other consoles get a look in.

Dreamcast was absolute garbage. Anything beats it.
