Stage intros and Special pre-fight interactions?! What happened Capcom??

That was mostly for the Kof games but yeah, Sf alpha 3, Sf3 and Third srike had special intros.

We need Future Fighting games that knows how to hype a Stage.

Exactly the same as the PS1 version of Marvel Super Heroes vs Street Fighter, utterly neutered

loved the intros in this game. If only Capcom vs SNK 2 kept these production value with the awesome gameplay balance/modes.

Capcom is so overrated nowadays. All people talk about is Street Fighter and most people don't even know about KOF!

The 90's definitely had the best games. Marvel vs Capcom and Capcom vs SNK were just amazing. What a dream come true when you see Kyo and Ryu in the same game.

That Sample is used in most games like in Persona 3

i freaking love that one for the traffic pileup stage, been wishing that was a real game since i first saw it.

CVS1 had a better polish and presentation While CVS2 had better game play

@Aaron9 the dreamcast controller was horrible for fighting games. I used a converter to use a psx controller at that time. I didn't like cvs 2 on ps2 even if its the same game. It had a bit more delay than the dreamcast version but not by much.

DacDaMan710 auto modellista came out in 2002 for ps2...cvs came out in 2000 for the arcade.

She (Nakoruru) was in the base game but needed to be unlocked after EVERYTHING else was unlocked. Julio is right, only Dan and Joe were added to pro as well as all locked content being unlocked by default.

I was always of the opinion that they did away with intros in favour of the 3d backgrounds in part 2

Nah. In terms of Capcom vs SNK, the heart of that crossover was always between Street Fighter and the King of Fighters (the latter being a crossover itself) and really, the history of the two goes back to Street Fighter. It's what makes it special compared to the other VS games back then and later on. But hey, decent choices. :)

It's the Osaka Stage, because of this both Capcom and SNK companies are based in Osaka, Japan

The stages, presentations, & intros before the stages were awesome, which is something part 2 didn't have plus the stages are better than part 2 & you had more stages. Why all this wasn't in part 2 was just plain dumb. SVC Chaos was trash
