Seit 2001 steht das Cannondale Scalpel als Synonym für ein reinrassiges Crosscountry und
Marathon Racefully. Für 2021 legt Cannondale das erfolgreiche Modell neu auf. Wir hatten
die Möglichkeit das Teamrad von Manuel Fumic vom Cannondale Factory Team genau unter
die Lupe zu nehmen. In die Einzelteile zerlegt zeigen wir Euch die Details mit Rahmengewicht
und Gewichten der Komponenten und Zubehörteile.
Since 2001, the Cannondale Scalpel has been synonymous with a purebred cross-country and
Marathon Racefully. For 2021 Cannondale is relaunching the successful model. We had
the possibility to have a closed look at the team bike of Manuel Fumic from the Cannondale Factory Team. Dismantled into the single parts we show you the details with frame weight
and weights of the components and accessories.

    Is it the Shimano xtr crankset M9120-1 that you used to fit the 83mm wide BB30a. How many Spacers did you use to deal with the Ai offset?

    It was a preproduction frame for Manuel Fumic can be one reason, but in many times the actual weight is higher than the claimed one, that's why we put everything on a scale

    Manuel Fumic has a strong engine!! At 100 cadence he gets about 53km/h

    @@hecateagariomore406... If you are riding multi terrain you will definitely use all those gears. Unfortunately most mtb riding these days seems confined to bike parks.

    @@coldforgedcowboy you dont need more gears on a 1x12 drivetrain, y do xc and i use all of them, i have a 38 tooth on front, obviusly if you dont have the right disk in the front the drivetrain wont be great since you wont use all of the gears, most people have their 1x 12 drivetrain setup wrong and they dont even touch the 46 cog

    The crazy thing is they made it so thin to replace one bearingpoint of the rear triangle. It realy is supposed to be bend back and forth thousands of times. IMO absolutely sketchy

    Tristan It works fine, the corvette has carbon leaf springs and F1 car suspension is entirely carbon.

    Well that's pretty sweet.. however.. my 19' Large Epic S-works weigh about the same, with more sealant on the wheels, heavier hardware and Sram X01 Eagle.. I would expect a top athlete to run a lower weight bike.

    @@lukasbormann4830 fortunately not. I built my bike around the frame and using a Fox Stepcast 32. Had some bad experience with the RS Sid.. it was super hard for me.

    Esa relación 38T y piñon 10-45 es demasiado dura ni el campeón del mundo de XCM usa esa relación me imagino que Fumic vive en un llano porque un lugar donde haya alta montaña no sube pero ni caminando con esa transmisión por más profesional que sea

    This is a Teambike and the Team is sponsored by Shimano. The original Spec comes with a much lighter BB30 Pressfit BB and a cool and very light Cannondale SI Crank. To run a Shimano Crank you need this special BB.

    The standard Spec comes with a much lighter BB (about 90g) and a light Hollowgram SI Crank. The BB Shell is BB30 Pressfit, in order to run a XTR Crank you need this special BB which is unfortunately heavier.
