Wouldn’t the mat being above the ground mess with your dribbling muscle memory since it’s a few inches above where you would be dribbling in a game? Can someone who bought the product let me know if this is an issue?

I got this about a week ago. Used it several days in a row and then went to the courts. I did not notice the difference. They felt pretty much identical to me. I’d be interested to see how this might change over the long term, but I’ve used it so much since I got it that I think if it were an issue it would have thrown my dribble off a bit (at least for the first couple minutes on a real court).

Long term and if you had a slotted court to run up and down 1000% yes; but this is a once in a while tool, etc. You’ll notice no issues at all because you’re fine you’re actually focusing more now where it becomes instinctual. This is a tremendous teaching tool.

It's not an issue because you're training rhythm and feel. For instance, plenty of people dribble while sitting in a chair or laying down to practice their handles.

I think you have to be a certain skill level to really take advantage. A newbie doesn’t have enough control of the ball to keep their dribble on a target like that
