The stars have not been aligning for Dream recently. Ever since we made the claim that "Dream's Face Reveal Was An Awful Decision" things have only gotten worse. MCYT and KZread Minecraft is pretty much dead, his best friend GeorgeNotFound has been cancelled, and his music career hasn't been doing so well. Dream is feeling less relevant every single day, and while we could definitely be wrong, it's possible that nobody's talking about him in only 12 months time.

Sunny’s videos don’t take into account Dream’s or any other person’s mental health, only statistics. Dream basically completed KZread years ago and is probably a millionaire. Joji is probably one of the best modern success stories I've heard in a long time. The Filthy Frank and Pink Guy videos gave us some of the best memes and content on KZread, so him becoming a K-pop star was just him getting on with his life. This guy; Dream, he has absolutely no idea what he's doing. Zero self-awareness of how his content got so popular.

But keep in mind, every famous personality in the world goes through ups and downs in their career, it's part of the rollercoaster ride of fame. I mean, having only put out two videos over more than two years will also tank your popularity. If you're not doing anything, people will forget about you. Sure, rewatching some of the videos from time to time can be fun, but if there's little new stuff, especially little new gaming stuff, why would anyone expect the channel to grow?

As someone who used to watch Dream's videos all the time, I am disappointed on how Dream turned out after the face reveal. It's like revealing his face just ruined the atmosphere around his videos after that, and even if he does come back to making videos, it may never feel the same.
As somebody looking in from the outside, why should he care? Nothing lasts forever, the dude is probably economically set for life and likely has a decent amount of friends to spend his time with.
I can't believe dream made us all forget his face, truly one of the dementia moments of all time.

There is a way, but no one does it because it is long and complicated and expensive. Aka sue for defamation. If there is evidence of the wrongdoing then it won’t go anywhere and could destroy the person’s reputation. If there is no evidence like many like many clam to have but don’t actually have any, then they should be sued and have it as a consequence of their actions.

Just because Dream’s career is dying, that doesn’t mean Minecraft will never return to fame. Minecraft has an on and off situation. It died in like 2017 or 2018 or something like that, but then in 2019, it was revived with the help of a few KZreadrs. Like Pewdiepie and Technoblade (may he Rest In Peace) and of course, Dream. That’s how Dream even got the spotlight in the first place. He served as a major part of Minecraft’s revival. But because Pewdiepie has slowed down on KZread after being beaten by T series, Technoblade sadly passed away from cancer, and Dream made the mistake of that face reveal, Minecraft has died once again. Even if Dream never makes a comeback, there could be another content creator who revives Minecraft again.

I think it definitely hurt his brand, but that's not the main reason his new videos aren't getting any views. He has uploaded so unfrequently, and none of them have been about a manhunt. I genuinely think that if he put his time and effort into doing even crazier challenges than he used to, it could repair his reputation and make up for the drama he's been through.

I agree with you, minecraft clearly isn't dying. I mostly watch hermitcraft nowadays, a server that's been running for over 10 years with no intent of ending or dying out. All the creators are responsible and know how to not get into controversies. It's obvious dream isn't as interested in both music and minecraft anymore, I think if he actually committed people would watch, but it's simply too hard to maintain an audience when you upload 3 times a year.

I do think Dream can make a comeback. The provably false allegations of him will unfairly but certainly taint his reputation, but I really think if he starts putting his all into his content, putting all his effort into reviving his career, not respond to all the stuff that surrounds him, like false allegations both to him and george, he can gain most of his respect back. What I think he should do, is simply not care about what people think of him, or his friends. If he wants to play with George, do it. Dream playing with all his old friends would certainly gain attraction. I think he should issue a real and authentic apology to quackity, tommy, and all his other friends that he either wronged or grew apart from, he can certainly gain his respect back. Simply showing that he cares about his friends, not just for content, if he uploads consistently to show his dedication to his fans, and simply ignore hate, things will go away and he can make a comeback. I don't think just continuing to do old minecraft content will work, though, People will find a way to hate on him no matter what he does. I think he has to come up with some new concepts, bring new people on his channel, not big youtubers because people will call him a clout chaser, but just bring his friends on that he wants to play with and have a good time. I don't think people really care that much about the quality of his content. I think he should simply play with his friends, ignore hate, and just have fun doing youtube regardless of the views. Mrbeast does a great job ignoring hate. Don't you think if he responds to every allegation his reputation will get worse? Not to mention, constantly responding will guarantee you make some big mistake, like dream has done a ton. Just have fun, Dream. The face reveal wasn't the whole problem. sure, it killed some anticipation, but the way you used it was the problem. The thing that made you successful was minecraft, people like you playing minecraft. Dream’s music is only getting dog piled because it’s Dream. If it was anyone else the reviews would be between 2-3 stars out of 5 (my opinion) If I’m totally honest, Dream’s individual songs (Roadtrip, Mask, CMC) weren’t horrible and seemed of a higher quality than his album which seemed very rushed (except maybe Until I End Up Dead) and very average. Dream should make less songs but more quality imo

I think one important part in being a KZreadr or content creator is recognizing why your fans are watching you. Which ultimately is your channels identity. If you stray away from that identity, regardless if you wanted to forge that specific identity in the first place or not, then you’re simply setting yourself up for failure.

The lack of content is a real thing, I was a fan of Dream and Dream Team for years, and nothing has ever pissed me off as much as their lack of content, not even their accusations. It's crazy for me to look back and remember that the reason I stopped being a fan this year is because they just don't upload content, it's insane, my mind doesn't process how their minds work, even if I think about the mental health of the entire Dream Team, I see no reason not to hire someone to make content about them, the content they have given us this year I can count on one hand. And let's not even talk about Sapnap, clearly he makes content, but not content that a fan would enjoy, he's always looking sleepy, tired or complaining about something in his streams, he watches other youtubers videos for HOURS, he's watching TV shows, etc, it doesn't feel like something he genuinely wants to do and that only makes me not enjoy the content he's making either, it all feels very forced. Also the Dream Team have a habit of throwing things on air like “we have a video recorded”, “we have a stream idea in mind” etc and they just never do it and probably at this point they WON'T do it, ideas like going to a haunted house, blind, deaf and mute challenge, cooking streams, george driving lessons, etc. Nobody knows what they are doing to be so busy, we know they are “coding” but they don't even release a random snap of how the project is going, they just don't do ANYTHING. I won't be surprised if they lose all their fans, atp they deserve it.
