Dream Machine 2: Create an applique embroidery design in Design Center

PART 1 OF THE DM2 AND SNC DX225 SERIES.
In this video, I showed you how to create an applique design in the Design Workspace from start to finish on your Brother Dream Machine 2 (mine is called McDreamy).
This video is a continuation of that video - and in this video I am going to show you how to save the applique design properly in two ways, save it to your USB and then take that to your Brother Scan N Cut DX225 !
Once we get the design to the Scan N Cut DX225 (mine is called McDreamy, of course), I show you how to load up the design, add a little bit to the size of the design, pick the correct part to cut so you don't cut the whole design out, and then get ready for cutting.
You can cut the fabric in 2 ways - you can back the fabric with fusible backing and use the regular cut blade OR you can lay the fabric down on the standard mat and use the fabric cutting blade - both work just fine.!
In the next video, we are going to continue with the series and cut the fabric with our Brother Scan N Cut DX255!

I watched this video a while back, but realized I didn't comment on how much I loved it! I've taken classes on IQ Design, but I learned more from this video. The great thing is if I forget, I can always come back and re-watch! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge in such a precise and clear way...but always lots of fun too!

Thanks for all your hard work ❤️ So sad I don’t have a Dream Machine😢 Surely you will be using the Scan n Cut with all the digitizing software . . . right?

YES!! PEDesign 10 has a feature that you can send the applique part over to the scan and cut directly, and the other software you can export an SVG to the design n cut software and then send it to the machine. So YES there are many ways of accomplishing the same result!!

first question - why did you want to go back? and if you want to go back when you are stitching on the Dream Machine 2, you can go back by color or you can go back by the amount of stitches.
