Where are you located? Those are fresh. I used to have locs, started out as two strand twists and then cut them and ready for long hair again. Nice video and I like they look so natural.

I am about to make my own wool dread extensions to put in the mohawk I already have, and I was wondering, are the dreads in the back shorter than on top, or are they all about the same length?

Do they need to be re-wrapped with extension hair when they grow out, or can the roots just be hand-rolled or something to dread them?

yes you can extend them..Google lock extensions or locticians in your area who specialize in locks. what they will do is take kinky human hair, and braid it to the end of your locks, then wrap extra human hair around the skinny braid that was braided onto the end of the lock, to the width of your natural locks and the length you want them to be. Prices may vary depending on the length as it will take more time and hair to do, Human hair is more expensive but will look natural and blend well..
