Well done on spotting the “recycled” boiler from Shockwave, you’re correct in saying that was put in place in 1994 and I removed it when G force was removed. As far as I have seen you are the only KZreadr who has noticed or commented about this.

@@Beefy2203 excited to see if anything else has been recycled from that area, I remember a fair bit of stuff from around the rapids, Klondike and black revolver …….maybe you could use the mining lanterns that are still in the Waves station 😂

Thanks for binging us that update, the theming for that coaster looks amazing, its good that they have managed to make use of old theming form other rides it gives a sense of nostalga for those that remember them. It looks like this is going to be a great family thrill coaster that all family members can enjoy. I think that Drayton Manor will be very popular this year. That flat area you pointed out would be great for a flat ride for the younger kids, maybe a small wagon wheel ferris wheel like the one at Flamingo Land or maybe a nice photo opportunity with landscaping or a shooting game, that Hillbilly game in Adventure Cove could be re themed and moved, i dont think it fits in that well with Adventure Cove. It might be worth you taking a look at Flamingo Land, they are re building their Lost River Ride and they are doing so at a fast pace so I think that ride could be opened by August.

I agree with you Matt, it would be great if they could put in a real Saloon for everyone to enjoy, i think it would be very popular, especially if they did something similar to Portaventura with entertainment going on whist you eat and drink. From what you said it looks like they have the space to do it. I wonder if that is next years project.

@@marybradley7791 I really hope so, they could get rid of the temporary bar in the tent near the stage and put a bar in here instead. Maybe…..if the haunting is rethemed to fit the new area next year so will this building 🤞🤞🤞 it would be pretty cool if they had a little stage with a little animatronic show (do you remember the Jungle Palladium) something a bit like that. They use to have tables and chairs in there but they’ve been removed too at the minute 🤔

@@CoasterGiant1 No i dont remember Jungle Palladium but i have seen the Jungle animatronics in the Pizza place. I think your idea would be great. They could also use it as a sports bar during major sporting events. Having somewhere for Dads to go would increase the amount of people going to the park, and removing the temporary bar would improve that area and leave the area free if they wanted to re-open and update that old castle/knight ride.

The queue entrance is the left by the toilets. You will enter a gold mine. I been told them boards in the cafe is the final pieces that will go above the station building and they will be installed over the next 2 weeks.

Hey Matt so Klondike Gold mine was the former coaster at Drayton Manor as for Gold Rush hoping to experience this coaster during the rollercoaster club Great Britain event Woodathon end of September but the Indoor rollercoaster at Babylon Park was my 90th rollercoaster ridden so need to experience 9 rollercoasters before Gold Rush as my 100th rollercoaster

@CoasterGiant1 I've actually got the 9 coasters planned out (2 coasters Southport Pleasureland, spinning coaster Cannon hill park, Sandwell Valley amusements wacky worm coaster along with Dudley zoo's kiddie coaster and last 4 rollercoasters at Legoland Windsor start of September)
