I made one of those with my 3d printer. I'm sending it as fan art to the po box tomorrow ;)

Draw a bee waterer. Certain insects require shallow drinking water or else they will drown. I made a bee waterer in my garden to help out my bee friends, with one plate and a bag of marbles. The plate needs to have a lip around the edge to hold water. Half the marble is under water, and the other half is a platform for the bee to comfortably stand on. I bet you could 3D print something really cool to help out wildlife.

I had one of the original 3D pens when they just were launched to the market. I had a bit of fun with it but ended up giving it to my mother who was into crafts back then. From what I've seen they haven't changed much in a decade or so, they've just been fine-tuned.

I tried using one of these once and it's actually really hard but I want to try it again in a more serious way

Hey Jazza your 8 sided polygon is cool, a 🛑 stop sign to put next to your house.

I think his analogy to frosting is actually really accurate and that it would be easier if you used it like a piping bag instead of like a pen. Because when frosting, you kinda lift and drag to the next point instead of trying to just squeeze all the way across. That makes straighter lines.
