In this demonstration I am drawing the nose as a series of simplified, box-like planes. Once the initial block in is complete, I take a closer look at the underlying cartilage which forms the septum and nostrils. Understanding and applying the underlying structures to a portrait drawing can greatly enhance the appearance of the facial features.
