Thank you so much for this amazing tutorial. I love to colour, and I only just started getting serious about it. Even though your tutorial is in faber Castel I think it's very applicable to other brands as well because of how you explain how the colour work together to get your end result ❤

Great, in this video you gave the colors used. I starting in portait I bought Faber Castell Pitt pastel, trying to learn Colin Bradley style , then later saw beautiful Portrait tutorials on colored pencils,so I bought the Derwent Ligtfast 36 colors ,they seem Ok for Portraits , animals and Landscapes but like other people saying in reviews ,too many browns and greens . I see you using the Faber castell as opposed to Derwent .Do you have preference for Polychromos ? I heard they were better for details work and they come in very nice color range so will need to buy thoses too! Please keep doing turorials want to see more more.......and more! Thank you!

Ooh now that's a good question, it was a while ago I made this video. Looking at it I'm pretty certain it's as follows: 4 - Ivory, Beige-Red (used to be called Light Flesh), Venetian Red, Red-Violet, Burnt Siena 5 - Ivory, Beige-Red, Burnt Ochre, Bistre, Warm Grey IV, Walnut Brown 6 - Ivory, Warm Grey III, Warm Grey IV, Burnt Siena, Dark Sepia I hope this helps!
