This tutorial consists of 5 tutorials in one in a span of 12 minutes. Well done Mr. Dunn! Most youtubers would make longer videos for each part only to realize that we need to pay to get a clear tutorial from them

I am doing a course in contemporary art and they are not breaking it down for us like this. I am very grateful for your teaching. I find it so easy to follow and it it gives me the foundation I need to see how things work so when I do draw from life I know how to begin so that everything is laid in correctly. I improved in my ability to draw profile immediately. Your a great teacher!

These videos are excellent and I'm really looking forward to the full face and 3/4 ones. I'm currently using it to get confident to sketch people really quickly for a long trip to India and it's helping so much as I can start to understand what to simplify to still get a convincing face into my sketch.

I haven't practiced drawing profile views that much at all except for when I first started getting into art so I thought I'd start up on it again to improve my face drawing skills, and after trying this one time, I noticed just how much I've actually improved from when I first started out and I'm so happy right now. Great video! I feel like this type of videos help with drawing generic heads from different angles. The thing is, when you're drawing portraits or characters of your own you have to put in specic features to make it look characteristic, personal, and less generic. To make it look like it's actually THAT person and not a manequim. And that's where I get into a lot of trouble. I wish someone would focus more on how features vary and how to make a character still look unmistakably like itself even with all the different expressions and angles!!! Any tips???

Can you do a wolf too maybe? I really like the method you use, the side view is great, this type of art would be great if painted on top of

Nope. Do both or whichever interest you most but the head is very important
