I dont know why every religion blames women for dividing the families or the reason for war. We have mothers too who keeps the famiy together.Irrespective of gender , people have played constructive and destructive roles in the society.But I think it is not fair to particularly generalize the things regarding gender.

Because they pressurise there husband for property and money.they don't like why there husband taking care of his parents.if there husband gives money to her mother for surgery it's ok but husband give money to his parents it's not ok. They don't care about there mother in law

Because the whole incident wasn't meant just for the pandavas. It was supposed to be a lesson for the generations to come. Krishna would have himself destroyed the whole kaurava clan but he wanted Arjun to do so in order to teach the world what is right. The whole plot was based for purification of world
