You got it right. In Gahna wining is determined when your opponent has only one seed on the board. If you look critically the seeds in yellow would have only one seed seed to two at the end. Cheers

The pink small seed you talked about is used to indicate the score when playing. It is always two and doesn't necessarily have to be pink seeds. Stones or any item which is appropriate can be used as "signing stones". For example, if you score one, your opponent would have to put one of the signing seeds in the first white box at the back row starting from their left and vice versa till one reaches five first, then another game begins. And there are five white box at the back row. I'm saying white because your board has white boxes. And about the draw game you talked about, Ghana and Nigeria have the same rules except for the fact that in Ghana, one is not allowed to play with just one seed. In that case you've lost. So the one with the yellow seeds will quickly advance to crown and capture one of the blue seeds which is a winning game. It doesn't matter if one of the blue seeds is able to make it to crown. It's still a losing game for the blue opponent if it's only just the crown left. I hope I've explained it well enough for you to understand

in Ghana , we don't play with one seed. as soon as you are left with one seed and you opponent has more than one seed you have lost the game. But in Nigeria and elsewhere, you can play with one seed.
