D.J got himself casted in his stall and was unable to get up, here is the rescue that was done to get him and back up and to good health

For those wondering what happened in this video... He got stuck on his back or side against the wall of his stall and could not get his feet under him to get up. It's what they call being cast in the stall.

Tysm! Im guessing it happens to older heavier horses more?

@@amandad3877 unfortunately it can happen to any horse, whether it's in a stall, outside near a fence, a tree, etc. Horses have a way of doing strange things that make you scratch your head., my horses included.

He actually has arthritis so bad that he laid down and couldn’t get up.
So happy for this boy. Love those happy endings! Thanks for sharing Mike.
Pretty Draft. What happened inside his paddock? The sound isn't very good on my end.
Why couldn’t he stand up once he was away from the wall? Did they have to sedate him?

He wore him self out trying to get up in the paddock so we had to slide him out and use the lift to stand him up
