@@hoshi4076 there are credits at the end, they're just on the screen for a very short time. Idk which character is the blonde one but Trisha Mellon voices Sophie and Socks Whitmore voices Laurel

This is such a cute story! I love the camera work/perspectives. The environment shift from indoors to outdoors is seamless. Who ever animated this seems like a really cool person, someone I would go on a picnic with, maybe even in a field. The film is beautiful and amazing and the work of someone going places.

This is so wholesome and wonderful and I love it! Also for anyone wondering, this wouldn’t happen in a real production usually! At my school they had a separate control of the mics in case anyone forgot to turn theirs off so you wouldn’t hear them backstage. The closest was when we were testing mics on dress rehearsal and someone tripped and yelled shit into their mic.

Haha it happened to me! But only because I was just walking offstage. I messed up my line and swore and the whole audience heard 🤣😭 even worse- it was a dress rehearsal so we were performing just for kindergarteners...😭

This animation is super good, especially the facial expressions, which really caught my eye! My mom says drawing facial expressions are my strong point...I'm teaching myself 2D animation from scratch and will, eventually, make a short film! I already have the script and storyboards done, and now I'll begin teaching myself to animate! I can already do a bouncing ball and an okay-ish walk cycle!

Idk, I think the fact that one girl physically tried to harm another one... nope. Not some cutesy story.

ending makes her seem disingenuous due to the role never being the problem and still proving she's not listening. she's not acting as if her behavior was the problem as if she won't take responsibility for what she said, acted or at least admit she was being a bitch just like she called the other one. it's not wholesome because they just forget about it, when one acts like they're better that not even your words are worth enough for anyone to listen to. yeah i'd yank the wig too. that's fucked up, it's not cute, it is creative but just feels like a generic "just forget about it" ending instead of them actually working it out.

I agree. I thought they would admit their flaws at the end. With Juliet admitting she got caught up in being the lead and the blonde admitting she was indeed jealous. Without it, it feels as if no growth was made. On the otherhand, if that was the point, that it's easy to push away the problem instead of dealing with it, a stronger ending would have been Juliet ignoring the blonde again and the blonde looking disappointed but follows along.

Laurel seems pretty toxic

The tree was an egocentric jerk. What even was there to be worried about, a piece of painted cardboard with nobody in it could be a tree; meanwhile they want to whine about their ridiculous worries to one of the people with the MOST lines in the play, and then act like that person is the one being unreasonable?? The tree is a bad "friend."
