I was there that night when you had that horrendous spell I was near the front of the stage I seen it all I’ll never forget What i seen in the quick action of Big Fire taking care of you. I also seen you being carried out on a stretcher and you raising your arm up like “I got this”.I know that our local hospital and staff took great care of you because that’s what we do here in the great state of Virginia. I used music to crawl back from left sided paralysis. Damned if I wasn't doing to be able to tap out the beat with my left foot. Forget that I was drooling and couldn't raise my head out of bed. God helped me first start with tapping to the music. Note to anyone just working on getting around with a walker, just getting past the dragging that lazy foot phase...now try picking up the walker-like a tight rope walker's balance bar- use the walker to help balance. Not a step or two, yet. Just to stand independently a second or two. Wow, that felt good. Then slowly practice over the days, weeks months doing a little more. Don't be stup, be sure you always have a crash pad plan in case you have to bail out.
