Drake Bell's Contemptuous Body Language is Upsetting Nonverbal Analyst Reacts

The former star of the Nickelodeon series “Drake & Josh” had pleaded guilty to two charges related to a girl he met online. The question is, did he confess to everything, or is there more? Perhaps his nonverbal communication can help clarify the situation.

It was her infatuation that was abused. When you're that young your automatic impulse is to please said person and you expect to be able to trust them. Being put in that position at that age can cause you to go along with things you still feel might be wrong because that person said its a good thing. Even if she went along with it it doesn't matter. She was not able to give consent and therefore was preyed upon by this freak.

It was requested and thus he delivered, as usual. He did not make this video as proof in court, only to show off his psychological abilities that viewers find interesting. But the fact you're dismissing the entire purpose of the video, despite the creator openly expressing it's not meant to prove any one innocent or guilty, shows how threatened you are by the mere existance of something that could go against what you think is true. You say because the girl was "caught lying" this video is unnecessary. But this video displays explanations, from a professional, that support the argument that Jared is also lying, even if nonverbally. So... What point are you making when the video itself cancels out your reason for it being useless? Again, this creator, nor I am saying Jared is guilty or innocent; this is not an argument on his criminal status nor lack there of. Simply tell me how this video is unnecessary in your opinion without involving the status of the case. Unless, you are down playing an entire channel simply because you are upset by a professional doing his job in a way that makes a liar look like a liar.

@@Gloomyraindrop I do think he was grooming her, it’s sick he would he even that and he did plead guilty for talking sexually to her but it never went further than that. The girl seemed obsessive and even bi polar, my theory is she wanted Drake for herself and when that didnt work out she started to attack him. There was also no talks of him molesting her or sexually harassment, she made that up way after she bought allegations of grooming. Some are saying she started exaggerating when she learned of Drake being married, probably made her jealous. In my opinion both of them aren’t right in the head, Drake needs to be far from kids and this girl needs more therapy.

@@junelledembroski9183 I don’t know which area thou talkest of but I’m not talking about existing countries, I’m talking about authentic Fiqh. The way it works is if someone falsely accuses someone of SA and it’s discovered to be a false accusation/slander, the person making it is punished. In order for the offender to be prosecuted, there needs to be authentic reliable witnesses or else it won’t be considered a valid allegation. That’s why Weinstein and Cosby were found guilty, there were many reliable witnesses. It’s very difficult to find out if a person actually committed SA from just a single victim’s testimony. Any 1 person can accuse someone of such a crime. But if they do, there needs to be good evidence and context for this, which is exactly what this young lady in the video brought along with Jared’s suspicious reaction.

Drakes expressions make me full uncomfortable. His body behaviour seems more like he’s pretending to be shocked and confused rather than actually feeling those things. Hearing what the survivor is saying feels very real. He got away with a lot even after admitting that he’s to endangering her. He should be locked in a cell for the rest of his life. If it’s happened once I have no doubt in my mind that it’s happened before or it will happen again. People like him never face the actual consequences so they continue to do it. Recently Cosby got out even after it was proven he did to at least one person. The legal system fails more than it does succeed. Not just in the US but globally. We need to change it from its core to prevent people like this from avoiding accountability. People with drug charges get longer time than most sex offenders. You know how many times I’ve seen something in the news saying a sex offender was released and is likely to recommit SA towards women and minors? “Generally targets girls between 14-19”. How is this allowed and normalized? Finished work the other day (It was a short film set) and it was across from a gentleman’s massage club and one of my coworkers stayed with me til my ride came cause it’s genuinely scary to be a young girl. He’s sitting there glad his consequences were very minor for what he actually deserves.

He is definitely guilty of all the allegations. I would like to add to some of the observations made in this analysis. Most of the nods were sarcastic nods, much like his contemptuous smiles. The duration of certain displays were pointed out. He was an actor, a recognized child actor. His acting and performance careers have not appraised for looking realistic. Sustaining displays is part of his natural response by this point. Him not showing sympathy or empathy can be explained differently than argued for in this video. Basically, his expressions aren't meant to show empathy because he is "being falsely accused", of something "that never happened". There is also another factor to this. At points, he seems to genuinely be trying to recall something. His gaze 'spaces out'. It could be argued that he may not even remember this instance, or most of it. Either because he's done similar acts many other times, or because he believes he never crossed a line, seeing this as "just another casual relationship/encounter" in his past. Spot on with the detached part of the analysis, whichever way one looks at it. "He didn't care then, he didn't care now." Agreed. He has been and continues to be disgusting.

She never left us alone but let her guard down 1 night and left us alone for an hour because her bf talked her into it. He was a sleaze. I was asleep on the couch 1 night and he came over really late when my mom was in bed. I woke up to him groping my chest. I told my mom the next day because that wasn’t her fault. She didn’t know he would stoop that low. She immediately broke up with him & told him off publicly every time we and/or she saw him around our small town. He moved after a few years lol. Anyway, I take my mom’s experiences & mistakes as learning experiences. In this story I think the Aunt was probably trying to be the cool Aunt. Idk though, that’s pure speculation on my part. @@catkit8639 Nah, I'm pretty sure you're misunderstanding MNK's comment. It seems like he's disagreeing with the analyst's point (While maintaining that separate from his question he believes Bell is guilty) that someone who is innocent would empathize with someone accusing them with a sob story that they know to be false (since they are innocent in that kind of hypothetical situation). He's not saying Bell is innocent so of course he wouldn't react, but instead asking why the Analyst is applying the standard that an innocent person would empathize since he disagrees with that idea (which is why he gave a situation where he wouldn't empathize were he in a situation where he is being accused of committing a crime that he did not commit). I kind of agree with MNK's question in that someone innocent of something wouldn't necessarily emote their empathy and support for someone actively accusing them of something false, but I don't think it applies to Bell here. He not only doesn't show empathy, but instead has this bizarre mask on of not reacting to anything. That's basically going to the extreme of the other direction by not only showing no empathy, but not showing most other expected reactions from someone defending their innocence. That seems as, if not more suspicious to me than not showing empathy in a situation like that. Baseline is, I agree with MNK 90 that Bell's guilty, and think his question is a reasonable one aimed at the analyst's reasoning, and that it in no way even implies that she is a liar.

You're using authority bias to prove a point, which is what you're accusing someone else of doing and it's not a valid argument. You can't just slap a label or charge on someone without evidence. and You know what else creates a toxic environment? Liars. You can't be dumb enough to think that in an age where everything is stored on phones and servers, even deleted data, that not a single picture or piece of evidence surfaced corroborating her story, right? Sometimes they don't care.. and that's why I'm glad for your video and you're work. Through these little videos, I can learn something so valuable for my journey.
