hey if you get a thing called the twilight tower you can change the background back to orriginal dragonvale (day) and you get the original music, i sugjest getting it duurring an event as its a large amount of gems

25:17 I remember when I first downloaded DragonVale, I was in the 4th grade. I used to get bullied a lot at school, and DragonVale was one of the games I ended up getting into when I got my first iPod Touch. My mother was also into that game as well, and I remember we had many conversations about the game, from showing off our parks to talking about what kind of dragons we found, it was a lot of fun. I stopped around the time Light and Dark dragons were released, and for many years I had forgotten about this game. Recently, I had a friend bring this game up out of nowhere, and we both reminisced and decided to play the game again. When I redownloaded and loaded up the game, I teared up when I saw my old park with all my old dragons, from the Plant Dragon to the Rainbow Dragon. I made a new park and to this day, I have both my new park and my old park on my phone, keeping the old one as a sort of window to the past.

I love the old soundtrack... I used to play DragonVale when I was about 10, I had at LEAST 4 double rainbow dragons, and much more... then my TABLET BROKE. The screen didn't work unless you pressed on it 40+ times and I could still see my huge park with all my dragons that I COULDNT TOUCh then i tried again on my phone i got some nice rare dragons THEN THE GAME GLITCHED OUT so now, here i am, at 15, trying again. wish me luck.

this is one of the greatest soundtracks ive ever heard.

Listening to this while reading the comments really brought tears to my eyes. I used to play this game so much when I was little even though I was the only one I knew playing it, but it didn't matter, I simply loved it. I forgot about it right about when the first Rift dragons were added. It stayed for about 2 to 3 years in the forgotten part of my memory until one day, for no apparent reason, I remembered about it. Over the years I've had periods of abandoning it and coming back because I don't really enjoy grindy games but this was too special to me. Now, in 12th grade, 1 year away from becoming an adult, I was watching a math tutorial on youtube and the melody in it kind of resembled Dragonvale music so I searched up this for the nostalgia and now I'm close to crying. I don't know if I'll ever come back and play it like I used to, because life just gets more and more complicated and there's less and less time to spend on non-essential things. Also, and grindy games aren't my thing, but without say, this will always remain in my memory as one of the best games I've ever played and one of the closest to my heart.

Honestly, I'm the same way right now. I played this game as a kid and loved the absolute hell out of it. A year ago, I picked it back up and started from scratch, renaming my park "Memory Lane" and recreating it based on how I remember mapping it out originally. I'm a college student now with my 19th birthday approaching in a month and I still cherish this game as a staple of my childhood. I think it's a crying shame that I won't be able to listen to any of the original soundtrack in game anymore, but regardless, I'm still pushing to get at least one of every dragon in my park! I agree though that life happens. One learns responsibility and real world aspects of life like money and work. Eventually, I'll have to regretably leave DragonVale behind one day. But I can never forget this game as I grow older. This game was one of the many things that really helped shape what I enjoy to this day. And whenever I come back to listen to the original music, I can't help but go a little soft in the heart.

I have the exact same story of forgetting about the game right after the rift was introduced, and then remembering it randomly years later. I used to play this game all the time with my sister.

I miss the days when me and my sister could calmly build and move things around, seems so much longer than it’s really been. She died in 2015 and I’m trying to continue playing but it’s not the same

I haven't played the game for years now, but I come back to this music just to feel the nostalgia. Very Calming.

My friend and I used to play this and My Singing Monsters all the time. He had super strict parents and would have to sneak out to hangout with me. We would sit on the curb down the street from his house and play these games, showing each other the rare dragons/monsters we would hatch. I used to play dragonvale when I was in 1st grade on my ipad, I dont remember much from that time but I do remember trying to grind for Kairos, getting jealous of great nogard's park with the epic's, and obsessing over the galaxy dragons. I love the soundtrack, but sadly things happened and that led to the app getting uninstalled. I wasn't allowed to use facebook at the time so all of my progress was basically gone now, and that made me not want to touch the game for years. Years passed, and I suddenly remembered the game. I dont know how but I did and ultimately redownloaded the game again, of course I started from scratch but I got much farther than I was before. Back then, I barely had any epic dragons, three islands, and no Kairos or gem dragons. But now! I'm level 75, I got all of the legendary dragons, almost all of the dragons that nogard had, and even got myself a bunch of gem dragons, to which is impossible for me back then. I may not be able to come back to my original park, but the memories I had with it will stay within my mind. I'm glad that other people is also nostalgic for the game, it really was a while.

IDK If It's A Glitch Or Not

I remember playing this until my tablet broke, then I got a phone and redownloaded and started all over again, I was level 44 with like 200 dragons and gaia and kairos. Then that phone broke, until I got my 2nd new phone which I did not download it on because I knew that if my phone broke again I would have to start over with another phone again. Good times.

Throwback to when innovation was simple minded, not a product of money. Although few apps were created back then, I recall a time where fruit ninja was the most revolutionary thing, along with angry birds. Later came dragon vale, the best of its kind. With a focus on lifestyle with music, art, and rewards. We used to play app games without being addicted to them, unlike today were they are all created keeping in mind the little attention span people have now due to social media. I recall playing dragon vale on my iPad, by the fire, I never knew there was guides so I just played the game and waited. A top mobile game and Im glad I lived through the peak of mobile gaming, even though its sad knowing I can't relive it.

I remember my first time playing, My brother, my sister, and I all had dragons Brother: Earth Me: Plant Sister: Fire We fought over the IPad, and my brother accidentally deleted his earth dragon, Smokey. Afterwards, we cried for 10 minutes and that made us get 25 gems. We then bought an obsidian dragon, which was my sisters and my brothers dragon. Good times.

not to be sappy or anything, but... these were truly better times. i just so happen to go searching for this on the 5th anniversary of you uploading this soundtrack, so figured i should comment something. the nostalgia of remembering old friends i used to gift every single day, and the overwhelming joy i felt when i finally convinced my parents to buy me enough for the gem tree and the extra breeding island. years and years have gone by, and here i am, at my worst so far. all i can see in the world is its futility and our infinitesimalism in it. however, sitting here typing this while listening to the sounds of my childhood, remembering how many times i had to look up egg guides to get the special dragons and how i missed some seasonal dragons for like 3 years in a row... brings me back to truly simpler times. i want to remember these beautiful osts when the world is ending. truly gorgeous music and makes me remember when i sat on my bed on a sunday afternoon with my window open and my mom vaccuming the upstairs carpet for us... immeasurable nostalgia. thanks for the journey, backflip!

The nostalgia is intense. Sometimes I still visit my park, it’s a nice escape.

Same, except this year is 8 years for me. They’ve added a lot of stuff since 2011-2012, but it just makes the game more interesting for me.

When this game exits i was very excited because that is my first time i see how dragon look like. Now im 14 and this game still not be forgotten in my childhood. I hope you guys have same childhood like me.

Dude, the nostalgia is killing me. I remember playing this game way back in, like, 2012 with my buddies in elementary school, and I'm just like "AHHHHHHH, BRING ME BACK TO THOSE DAYS". Also, funny haha, I almost lost my account because I couldn't remember the password to my GameCenter. I almost lost 7 WHOLE YEARS OF HARD WORK AND MEMORIES.

I still have my old account with a ton of rare dragons. I came back only to realize that Dragovale had changed its wonderful music to some electronic millennial appeal.

This brings back so much childhood. I was playing this when I was I think 4 or 5. Somehow I managed to be a pro and got everything in the game. I played it for 3 years and one day when I came home I found my brother playing it, I checked what he was doing and realized he restarted the game for me. I was so sad because all my hard work was destroyed. After that, I stopped playing for about 4 years. And just today, as I was scrolling through my purchases, I saw DragonVale. I decided to download it again and realized a lot have changed. Everything was 3D. But one thing that instantly made me smile was the music. All the happy old moments came flooding back to me. The music truly is inspiring and amazing of what memories we can make.

Mo Vlogs it was the same for me, but a bit different, I remember it: I was going to my aunts house, and I changed the password to my iPad...so my sis could not get in, and me being 4, forgot the password, and we needed to get in the iPad to unlock it. I remember the day before, I was about to hatch the moon dragon, then I would almost be fully done. And then, I had to delete everything in that iPad...I still have pictures from when I still played, and it brings back memories each time I look back.

Guys, did you know that The Great Nogard, is dragon backwards? DRAGON - NOGARD. Sneaky Backflip studios. They really BACKFLIPPED the word DRAGON, didn't they? PS, if you forgot, the Great Nogard is the dude you visit and breed galaxy dragons with when you have no friends.

Thanks for posting this! I love the game, but the music has to be on of my favorite things about it.

I feel like dragonvale and How to train your dragon is like the same almost. Feels good man. I wish we could go back in time.

@@gojira0554 I redownload it every now and than to catch up a bit… 107 levels later still so many memories with my cousins bothers and friends it was addicting, sadly the original company that owned it “backflip studios”went under and another company called Deca Games took it over and I believe DragonVale is the only game from that business that stayed in tact because of its success

HOLY JEEZ. Every time a new soundtrack starts I get so many memories it _physically_ takes my breath away. Nothing does nostalgia better than Dragonvale.

I played this game a long time ago, then forgot about it. However, one day I got bored, so I looked on my devices, and found Dragonvale! I deleted it when I forgot, so I had to reinstall it again. I was afraid that I would lose that park, but when I got in, I found out that I had supported it with Google a long time ago, before I forgot about it. I went in, and I saw all my dragons, including limited-time ones. The park's name was Dragon Kingdom, by the way. I am so glad that it wasn't deleted, because now I continue playing on that same park, and it is going along nicely.

Oh man the memories. Me and my lifelong best friend had this game in early elementary school, from about 2nd to 4th grade. Everytime we had sleepovers we talked about and played this game. It was my favorite thing to do everyday for years. Now a junior in highschool, I just redownloaded it and sad to see my old park is now gone. But I’m starting fresh, reminiscing of the good times. Me and him are still best friends and I’m so glad to have refound the game.

This Is my childhood in just 59:47 minutes. So nostalgic

Back then, ten or eleven years ago now. I remember using my mother's iPhone 4S to play Dragonvale when the Air dragon could only be bred with the Fire and Water dragon and not bought.. I think. It was also the highest primary element dragon at the time. The 'Dragons' tab of the Market was a mature Lava dragon which I always used to think looked like a frog. I honestly don't remember what it was like when the Metal dragon came out for some reason but I sure as hell do remember the Light and Dark dragons. I begged my mother to let me play on her phone and when she finally did, I ran upstairs and was bewildered by all of the new content. This was in 2013.. it feels just like yesterday despite almost being ten whole years ago now. The Dark dragon came out a week or two after and random story, I remember jumping on a chair and the leg snapped so I fell. Curse you Dark dragon! (Still love it though, one of my favourite primaries). Now I'm an adult and doing so many other things with my life, and a lot of my childhood memories are buried deep inside my brain. Man.. it's crazy how life changes.

Only fans from way back can understand the amount of joy and emotions this game brought out. Despite having not such a big fanbase, it was amazing. It was our game. And at some point many years ago it felt like part of my life.

This game was so peaceful to play but yet so fun to compete with your friends who had the most rare dragons... I miss those days everything was just more simple back then

Ah the memories of me playing this back in 2015 or 2016 on my iPad

so i used to play this shit back in like 2014 and just now remembered it. i managed to contact backflip studios and lo and behold, they still had my account linked up to my email. i was able to get it onto my phone and holy shit y'all this is bringing back so many memories, can't wait to start breeding more dragons and expanding it from where i left off.

This is definitely one of my favorite games.When I was younger, I was on like, level 50 or something like that. I was a lot younger, and I tried to get my grandparents to get it on their iPad! Recently, I found an old diary that I wrote in when I was in like, second grade, and I had wrote like 3 pages about how I got the double rainbow dragon. I wrote about all their names, and like, everything I reinstalled the game a few days ago. I have so many memories with it!

I remember playing this with my sister and best childhood friend 7 and 8 years ago 6:03 was my favorite theme because it was so calming and nostalgic...man I miss those times...

This music brings me memories of my dad because he would always wake me up for school in the morning and I'd play this on his iPad and watch tv while he made me breakfast. He died 3 years ago from brain cancer. It's nice to have something that'll instantly remind me of him like this
