Then later he rushes super buu AND kid buu (filler). While Vegeta laments that having a wife and kid didn't do anything for his power, it gave Krillin everything to live and die for.

Krillin and Lazuli are sooo good towards each other in Team Four Star's canon, it's great, I love the direction TFS took them in. (That isn't to say that their relationship in the actual DB canon is bad, just that in TFS we see, u know, _more_ of it, particularly the _how they initially got together post-Cell Games_ arc).

Fun thing is, Krillin really does have a background in agriculture and construction. Part of Roshi's training consisted of tilling soil in fields (with their bare hands), and doing construction (they were allowed tools, just no power tools).

People forget just how big of superfans the TFS is, they can pull humor and references no one expects.

RIP to one of the greatest Mangaka who ever lived. His skill and seemingly effortless talent as a storyteller in his medium was 2nd to none. The news is so incredibly heartwrenching. It just felt like he would always be here🐉

1:29 I LOVE the bits in TFS content of DBZ/DBS characters learning about the stupid bullshit that happened in og Dragonball and being utterly baffled.

I love the usage of Lazuli instead of “18”. I kind of wish the official release used that. It could’ve totally worked with her official character too, like only having her allow Krillin and Maron to refer to her by that name.

Honestly, it's likely that Bulma, Mr. Satan, or Yamcha provided 18 and Krillian with a house. He's just doing the police thing to have something to do to get his own personal income stream and be a noted member of area. Probably so they don't think his beautiful wife is the same person that terrorized several cities worth of people.

Yeah, always struck me as bad how they kept going by their numbers. I get giving them names was a later on retcon, but even before the names were revealed I just felt it was so weird they would essentially say "yeah, our whole lives and identities before Gero modified us are dead, we are forever his cyborgs"

2:54 I love how TFS actually acknowledges the downsides to how the Z-Fighters lived they're lives in Dragon Ball. Goku lucked out by marrying into money, and I guess so did Yajirobe by hooking up with Korin, but the only Z-Fighter who actually got a job (before Super that is) would be Yamcha with baseball. Really puts into perspective why Chi-Chi was so stubborn regarding Gohan's studies , since most of their friends were essentially homeless.

In fairness, something that does tend to get underplayed in both the fandom and the franchise itself is that their training isn't just a hobby, they are pretty much the protectors of the planet, in particular the Saiyans (including Vegeta after his character arc). And they frequently manage victory by a hair, indicating that they kind of need every second of their training to keep pulling out victories for the fate of the planet. And that's saying nothing of how often they die in agony as a result, and thanks to the dragon balls they can look forward to dying protecting their planet *multiple times*. That kind of sounds like a job that deserves greater compensation than the occasional thank you, at least to me. @@kylecyrus9457

Krillin and 18 are imo the most stable and happy relationship out of the main cast in Dragon Ball. Bulma and Vegeta get better in Super for sure, but they were *made* for each other and I'm glad TFS is making that obvious.
