The only reason to do this is to get free publicity with zero chance of ever having to give away any equity in the company. It's essentially just a play to get free publicity. Hey, it seems to work though because these people get on the show even after a screening.

Exactly right. I notice that all (yes, all!!) the highly over-valued companies in the den are the type of companies that require high numbers of regular Joe Soap consumers or website members to gain traction. In other words they go on the den, not to gain an investor, but to gain tv exposure (customers/viewers).

I have extreme body dysmorphia and occasionally I’ll feel totally ready but when I go to step out the door something stops me and I’ll spend the next hour in tears frantically trying to find something else to wear that makes me more comfortable. Basically anxiety is a bitch and I can totally see how deciding on clothing can cause panic.

I’m a guy of 21 years, can’t say I’d ever use it or find it useful, but having sisters, girlfriends and female friends, I can certainly see why they’d want to. It's a nonsense idea. If you have so much wardrobe that creating an outfit gets problematic then actually maintaining a digital copy of your collection is entirely unfeasible. You must also take every picture in the exact same lighting and at perfect angles - and it's still going to deviate from the look & feel of the actual physical thing. The solution to this problem is getting better and more efficient and picking up your outfit, not creating more work out of it. ...oh and she's gonna sell your personal data to the retailers. Awesome.
