This is part 2 of 2 of a magic-only challenge on NES Dragon Warrior 3 (aka Dragon Quest 3). "Magic only" includes use of items and spell-casting items, and parrying. Hero also sometimes uses dummy items while parry command is unavailable. Only the traditional attack command is forbidden.
This was streamed on June 5, 2023, to complete a TG bounty challenge. The challenge ends when the character arrives at Romaly, but I felt like playing longer, hence why Romaly was bypassed earlier.

Note: A strange bug occurs at around 7:44:30 in part 2 (just past 17 hours in the combined run). I go to the Vault to drop off excess gold and items. I begin with my Hero's inventory, then when I go to choose a second item, without explanation it has switched to my Wizard's inventory. I believe I held the confirmation button too long when this happened, but I have no explanation for how that would cause the routine to switch to another character without notification. I have no idea if this is an emulation bug or a glitch present in the original NES game. I really don't know how it happened, and it's truly quite unfortunate that this inexplicable snafu would happen 17 hours into a 19 hour run which I intended on submitting at TG. All I can do is point it out, throw my hands up, and say "This is apparently a thing".
