Dragon Warrior 3 NES, magic-only versus Zoma
This is a continuation of a magic-only challenge on NES Dragon Warrior 3 (aka Dragon Quest 3). "Magic only" includes use of items and spell-casting items, and parrying. Actions of confused characters are not considered disqualifying. Only the traditional attack command is forbidden.
Yes, I do know about the Parry bug, but I typically don't use it by default. Also, I got the most amazing RNG of all time against Zoma. The only magic attacks that consistently work against Zoma are Bedragon and Lightning, with Lightning doing much more damage. When used by my Wizards or Sages, both of these options require a one-turn setup at the beginning, and then again every time Zoma freezes my magic. But Zoma never did the freeze move this run. Lucky me.

@@FeelOfWartune Thank you for reading! Honestly, everything's good. Billy's crazy disqualification motion against Tash will go nowhere. I could fart out quicker smaller updates, but I prefer to spend time on better writing, all of which I do in my free time. Since Karl just did an update, I'll probably wait for Tash's response before finishing my next write-up, so I can include that material as well when I go over everything. As for Dragon Warrior stuff, hey, sometimes I like to actually play games as well. Those RetroAchievements ain't gonna pop themselves!
