This is part 1 of 2 of a magic-only challenge on NES Dragon Warrior 3 (aka Dragon Quest 3). "Magic only" includes use of items and spell-casting items, and parrying. Hero also sometimes uses dummy items while parry command is unavailable. Only the traditional attack command is forbidden.
This was streamed on June 5, 2023, to complete a TG bounty challenge. The challenge ends when the character arrives at Romaly, but I felt like playing longer, hence why Romaly was bypassed.
