This would be fabulous with leather tabs... and I have just the leather for it. LOVE this, I know at least a half-dozen people who will want it!! Great tutorial!!

I absolutely love the gusset idea for the spine portion and adding the brads. A nice alternative to sewing.

Yup! They certainly love to "help"! I honestly also love when the cats hang out with me in the studio!

100% going to get this kit next time I get paid so I have it sitting and waiting for me to get all the stuff I will need and this will be my Project for this year, I have been wanting to get back into crafting but nothing really sparked the fire until now I love Dragons and fantasy, all the papers look so amazing, my brain is just going over all the things I could make =)

Sometimes it happens, that double-sided Tape with the years is seeing through. That's an other Point that Crafters should know. I think wet glue is always a good helper by using double-sided Tape. 😊

I notice your pages look glossy. What kind of paper are you using? I love downloading and printing the pages, but how do you conserve on ink?

The crafter (Katia) had the sheets printed in her local print shop on paper with a satin finish. Ink is very expensive, indeed. I usually use the "normal" setting instead of the "best" setting, it gives me enough quality. Furthermore, I try to make sure to not make any mistakes during printing, so I prepare the printing process as good as possible. If the costs are less in your local print shop than printing at home, that can be a money saver (especially with full page prints).

Love this and am making it along with you. As I am looking through the papers I don't see a green like you use on your pages. Did you use regular colored paper from your collection or am I just missing it in the kit??

Katia actually brings her digital download products to her local printers to be printed. They use an ink jet printer. She has everything printed on 80# cardstock with a silk finish. That's what gives the papers that bit of sheen.

could you use those fridge magnets that advertise businesses..?? those things mount up, are flat and thin and can be cut to size..also I think I'd like to do a trial run of this using up scrap paper/albums I already have before I purchase this dragon set..a task for the new ear once I get past my summer holidays down the beach this January...
