That's my 2023 birthday cards list sorted! Great projects and beautiful designs - as ever Tinne. No fluffy bunnies here (my pet hate) Looking for the UK ENGLISH name (usually different from US name) of those polythene pockets is like hunting for the great white whale; but if you throw everything at Amazon you can find them :- CLEAR PLASTIC PUNCH PUNCHED POCKETS FOLDERS FILING WALLETS SLEEVES To be pedantic - which as a 74 year old scientist I'm entitled to be - they are actually made of POLYTHENE (polyethylene) ; which of course is a plastic, but soft and flexible, not rigid.

thank you Tinne. I find if I always cut your ribbon on a slant even when just cutting 2 pieces like this, it means I won't have to go back and re trim later. (it's a slant cut already) ; also did you know that conrstarch makes tape un-sticky for those moments when you need it.. :)

This is amazing! I love it. I've been wanting to make me journal, now I will. I've never seen anyone use a staple to mind a signature, I think I'll try. I also love the designs. What weight of paper would you recommend for the embellishments?

  • @vectoriadesigns

Hello dear Konnie, Thank you so much for your kind words. In regards to your question, for the majority of our designs, like paper sheets, we recommend keeping it simple by using plain white copy paper. For journal covers, albums, string tags and boxes it’s better to use sturdy white paper or cardstock to get a quality finish. For those projects we like to work with paper that’s 160g/m2 or a bit heavier, like this one: amzn.to/2uWmwTz. For A4 size, we love the Clairefontaine brand! If you're interested we include a bit of paper information in our resources pages: www.vectoriadesigns.blog/resources/ We also have a video with printing tips on our youtube channel, perhaps you'll find it useful too: kzread.info/dash/bejne/Y6iWqdCag7yXmco.html Does that answer your question? Let us know :)
