Dragon Stone - Sweden, with Andreas Kornevall

A large hare and raven-kraaks greeted me as I approached this dragon stone carved 1000 AD in Sweden.
This is a beautiful example of a traditional rune stone.
The carved lines are filled with red ochre colour, the original body of the dragon was probably fully red. Mineral colour pigments were often collected from iron rich healing wells nearby. It is rare to see dragons with wings as you see on this stone.
I have translated the runes on the body of the dragon here from Old Western Norse to English. A memorial stone to a father.
