At first I didn´t know how I felt on these lo fi mixes. I thought that these videos took away some credit from artists (because most ppl visit mixes and not the actual songs) but... now I think it is really cool that not so recognized artists can be heard. I love the lofi community and they are super supportive, so I may as well start creating a little diary entry every day I listen to this. *_Day 1. Tuesday, September 21, 4:47 PM_* I woke up at around 7:45 today but stayed in bed until 8:05. My family is sick, hopefully, nothing bad. My dad is and was sick since Saturday/Sunday and took an at-home COVID test. He came back negative. My sister didn't come to school today because she felt bad. She took a COVID test as well and it was negative. My mom has a stomachache, so nothing too bad. She hasn't taken a test yet. I am feeling okay, I just had small cramps which were from my period which I hoped had stopped. I had to make my own breakfast and get everything ready myself, but that's okay because I do that every day. I went to school today, it was okay, I had a bit of a stomachache the whole day, hopefully not again tomorrow. I will bring my pills to school just to be safe (nothing dangerous, they are just cinnamon and licorice pills against cramps/stomachaches for periods). There was a bake sale, and I bought myself and a friend a brownie, one for each of us. Do kind things for others, instead of just yourself. I am currently working on my homework, but I am leaving at around 5:15 to go to a friend's house. I will definitely come home earlier to finish a part of my essay so I don't feel bad about not finishing anything, but I am proud of where I already am right now, I have about two parts done, I am currently working on analyzing a song for the second part. I will keep you updated on whether I have finished the work or not. Hanging out was fine, I didn't actually hang out w the friend that invited me in the first place but that's fine bc I hung out with some other friends. I played a bit of pool and almost won, the rules were a bit bent to save one of my friends' time

But if you don't acknowledge it and move it will keep being a burden. Think of it like a stone of bricks on your back the farther you go with them the more tired you will get and eventually give out. I just started freestyle writing 20 minutes a day for a month and the first entry I did was about this picture. Here is what I wrote: Here I am. I can’t exactly figure out what it was that prompted me to be leaving my hometown which I seldom, if ever, have venture out of. I had to leave. I don’t know what else to say. Maybe nothing else needs to be said about it at all. All I know is that there was a burning desire that has been seething deeper and deeper into my very bones for a change. There are many different ways to make a change, but this is the only one that felt right deep down. What once started as a gentle tap on my shoulder, turned into an almost violent and frightening grip on my heart and my mind that would shake me awake at night and refuse to loose its grip on me. As odd as it sounds, I did not genuinely fear these feelings for I knew in the depths of my being that something was communicating with me things that I already knew but felt that I needed to suppress for whatever reason. I’ve always loved Osaka. I bear no ill will against this place. It has always felt like home, but there are so many other places out there to see, so many other experiences to have, so many different sights to see and people to meet. The air is a little chilly this morning, but I don’t mind it: I’ve always much liked the cold air, especially in the fall with the breathtaking foliage to match. As I stand here waiting for the 474 train, I can feel the air fill my lungs and penetrate my very being. Its funny, I’ve breathed the same air my entire life and yet have never felt it this intimately as I do now. It feels as though the very essence and vibration of the land and its spirit is filling my being and giving me the very life that I never stop to think about or analyze in any way. But I suppose autopilot is inevitable for all of us humans. Maybe it serves an evolutionary purpose or maybe its just a default setting built into us so we don’t lose our minds pondering the incomprehensibility of it all. It feels good to actually feel your breath and how effortless it is for us all most of the time. Maybe this is what freedom feels like, or the beginning of a new chapter or both. Thanks for reading all of this if anyone actually did ha. Take care my lofi family
