The cables are there to lock the car in place in case it loses traction and stops climbing.

This ride was literally a ride to heaven,even if he hadn't made it

I've had to load a lot of vehicles on trucks, and railcars in my life. Climbing at that angle for that duration of time would be nerve racking as hell. Bravo for that guy, wouldn't catch me even attempting it. You couldn't slow down at all. Lose traction, or stop your coming down the hard way.

Been there yesterday. Climbed the 999 steps on my own and the Range Rover is still parked at the top. Nice red car definitely

After watching this video I took the stairs instead of the lift, and let me tell you I’m still shaking. The adrenaline is something I never experienced before. Thank you I’m giving this vehicle a 5 star review

I hope the stairs weren't damaged too much in the process. As these stairs are part of a legendary place.

You can see they have been fairly recently laid down, I mean if they were ancient or legendary they would be an absolute mess.

It seems to me that this passage is very ancient so they just made the road on it following the old path but yes it very impressive that it has 99 turns and it looks very dangerous as well

Woah at first glance at the thumbnail I wouldn't never thought this was a real thing a real place. It's most beautiful place!!!

They were the best and affordable when they started making them. Now they are WAY too expensive to even look at them. So no need to advertise keep them to yourself.

I love how they put the interior camera to be slightly slanted so it exaggerates the angles and makes it look like he is driving up a wall lol.

@@Sy_h first of all that's not 0 degrees, and also outside does not tell you the degrees either. What you should be looking at is the things inside the car. For example the seat is clearly not parallel to the camera but of course you can say the seat could be tilted. Well usually a pro driver doesn't have his seat set up like a cholo in a low rider, so I would say the seat is somewhat almost straight up and down. Then you look at the infotainment/dashboard. The camera is mounted on the glove box and if the camera was straight up and down the video would show the angles of the infotainment/dashboard to be even more slanted forward. The fact that the video is parallel to the degree that the infotainment system is at means the camera is tilted more / to exaggerate the angle he is going up. Now I'm talking about the degree of the camera relative to the car. In case you don't understand, which you probably won't it means if he was on a flat surface the video would have a view like this / instead of | .

Chris No it is not, I have been to Tianmen mountain multiple times, that place is couple hours driving from my hometown. I can tell you that angle is real.
