I'm glad that the game makers don;t get sick of making the same scene over and over again. This is the only series that can get away with it.

This just shows how mich bandai squeeze dbz even in the 2010-2020 decades… From when xenoverse released it was starting to get outdated to see the dbz story again but it had time patrollers so it changed a bit. In a gaming industry where there are triple a sony games,online games that gets updated very often and get their job done for the most(like fortnite even if i hate it it still does well as a battle royale for 100 players in a lobby)there s bandai that recycle dbz,removing online,remove a big playable roster,not even doing the job done homestly(this game should have been the definitive dbz experience yet the graphics are mid in lots of cutscenes and graphically speaking is good only in the bardock dlc,you can see the story mode has still some ugly cutscenes and less resolutions and less graphics overall) they also skipped some story parts like first time gohan becoming a ssj(we see it ssj already but not how he reaches it when he s a kid with longer hair and many other parts. And worst part is that they will include in dlcs the z movies as if its something that it shouldnt be in the game already

One of the most memorable moments in my childhood was watching Goku go a Super Sayan for the 1st time back in the early 1990’s! And that’s all the kids at school and I Could talk about the next day!

Back in good ol' 1999, my friends and I managed to get bootlegs of the japanese versions of the films Dead Zone and The Wrath of the Dragon. We also knew that DBZ video games existed but they were inaccesible locally, as far as we knew, so we just had to dream at that point. To be a kid today coming up with DBZ and getting video games of this quality... Amazing!

I love this game so much. It’s like rewatching a less dragged out version of dbz but with these beautiful 3d animations and interactive fights sprinkled in. This game is truly the ultimate way to experience the dbz story

I love this game, add ons felt like a power leveling dlc but other than that overall game was amazing

Most of this is cutscenes and the characters just talking to each other so they definitely got that right from the anime.

I only wish they used Bruce Faulconer music for these games. It would make the scenes and bgm more dramatic and perfect

When I was a kid, I've always wait for more episode for finishing the Namek arc. Now in just matter of minute, the whole story was summarized and shorter. I miss this story.

Spirit Bomb attack should not be allowed to use when Goku is in Super Saiyan form. Even though makers turn him into normal saiyan when he uses it for just a second but it should be completely barred instead. It will bring even more close to how it was in the show.

@@dmoney__ I said it shouldn't be allowed because Goku can't use form the spirit bomb in his super saiyan form. That is why whenever he want to use Spirit Bomb, he tones down to his normal form to form it.

So what? In the Buu arc he does go super Saiyan AFTER throwing the spirit bomb, so he is perfectly capable of doing it. The only reason he doesn't use it in canon it's because it takes a while to charge, but in the game it doesn't. They got that detailed right, in Budokai Goku can even do the spirit bomb in SSJ4 form

It's not that he CAN'T do it in ssj, it just makes no sense to be using ssj when the purpose of the Spirit Bomb is to Collect and store energy.. Going ssj is expending unnecessary energy

i got a super finish on this, i got him down to like 10,000 and kaioken and then kamehamehad, it cuts to a scene of the kamehameha blasting out from the planet

Goku is done it he is a super saiyan well doooone

The game is pretty good but it has a total of like 2 songs that they replay a million times and it gets old pretty quick
